I have eaten here several times and it is consistent: service is friendly, caring, on time. The menu is creative and the food is delicious and beautifully served. Portions are a good size for either sharing or eating individually. And then desert 😊, what a treat! Drinks are tasty too and they have a variety of wines as well.

Kothai is definitely my all time favorite restaurant. I am so addicted that we have been going there every weekend since they started serving brunch.
Their food is unique. They do not take short cuts and each dish is carefully engineered. Yes, engineered, the owner puts in a lot of thoughts and trials before adding a dish onto the menu.
We do go there for dinner, too. They have different menus for brunch and dinner and every dish is great. Service is very attentive and everyone is informative.

Pretty good food. We had the cod and the KFC sandwiches. My husband really liked his warm mushroom salad. Nice, professional service. Pleasant atmosphere.

I love this place! Minimal interior design that’s so relaxing. The corner location with windows maximizes the sense of spaciousness. You can see the kitchen from most tables in the dining area. I had the octopus that was dressed in a mouthwatering umami sauce, and fish collar over delicately spiced salad. They easily accommodated my celiac disease. Absolutely delicious! This place serves exceptional food with outstanding service. The crown jewel dining destination of the inner sunset. Excellent for a date night, dinner with friends and family meals. Kothai deeply cares about the dishes they create and it shows!

Food is excellent! We order a few dishes. My most favorite is crudo. It tastes so good and so fresh. Service is very good. The place is crowded and not much room between tables. Well, it’s a small restaurant with good business. Well worth it.

First off, their food is incredible. Unique flavors and absolutely delicious with beautiful plating. Secondly, their service is top notch. Their servers are attentive, kind, and great at their job.
We came in with a party of 9 and they were able to fit us in. We tried 9 dishes off their dinner menu and every single one was fantastic. We couldn't decide which we liked best. I wish I had taken photos of the small plates we ordered but I forgot.
Their brunch menu is also amazing by their dinner menu is my new favorite! Highly recommend

Ordered the Slow Shrooms, Cornish Hen, and Umpqua Valley Lamb Roti — all exceeded expectations! Vibes and service were great, too!
The food was amazing. The pork jowl paired so well with the citrus sauce, and the homemade bread served with the mussels mopped up the liquid like a sponge. The cauliflower was flavorful and well-seasoned. The Cornish Hen red curry and lamb roti were cooked perfectly and very tender (the homemade roti was the perfect vehicle). I talked with the owner, Sung, who is fantastic. Will be returning soon to check out their brunch.

My party of 7 (with one toddler) came for our annual Friendsgiving dinner here on a Sunday night. We were treated so well so I had to leave a review. The host and assumingly owner, treated my daughter so well! He made a rice and pork dish just for her and a small cup of yuzu ice cream - it was complimentary! We tried many dishes, as we do when we are all together. Tom Yum with noodles had a kick of spice, but we enjoyed it. The balance with the bitterness of the veggies helped spice. The lamb dish was surprisingly not gamey, coming from two of us that do not like eating lamb. My daughter and I enjoyed the pork jowl and she liked the mushroom dish too. The bread of the mussels were good. I also enjoyed the octopus. One negative was that the persimmon in the dessert wasn't quite ripe yet as it did have a weird after taste. The pear dessert was my favorite of the three we ordered. Service was our favorite here though. The total was $415 for all of us (tips included).

The menu is short for a reason - all dishes are so amazing.
The King Salmon has great texture and pleasant Thai curry flavor well blended in. The desserts are all so delicious, especially the persimmon cheesecake.
Beet salad is delicious too.
