Decided to try this place out after passing by so often. We eat Japanese quite frequently. The place had good reviews and boy were we disappointed.First, we were shocked on how expensive dinner entrees were but assumed it would of been justified by the portion. Nope. Portions are so small and flavors were average at best. We ordered the katsu curry and zaru udon set:Katsu curry: room temp curry, super tiny katsu and very little rice. Flavor was mediocre but still enjoyable.Zaru udon: 1 measly piece of shrimp and 4-5 assorted veg slices. Gave a shot size amount of tempura and udon dipping sauce. Had to ask for more several times. No way to eat the food with the original amount given.Last but not least, the music was horrendous. It’s the nail salon covered pop song radio hits on repeat. Though the decor is nice.I would highly recommend one of the neighboring restaurants for a more valuable meal.
Not recommend. The high rating is because leaving a review will result in receiving a drink or miso soup. I ordered a tonkatsu bento box, and it was the thinnest tonkatsu I've ever had. Very disappointing.
