This place is THE BEST FRENCH BAKERY IN SF. Hands down. I've been getting almond croissants here and other delicious treats for over a decade and make sure to stop by every time I go to SF now that I don't live in the city anymore. Their Chai is THE BEST IVE EVER HAD. The people are super kind and lovely and this place just can't be beat: pastries coffee or tea sandwiches go get you some!

Great chai latter, not too sweet, just perfect. Great place to have breakfast or brunch

The pastries look amazing and taste great. We tried the chorizo empanada and a raspberry cheese pastry. Both were excellent. We added half & half into the cold brew. It was perfect. The almond croissant latte was true to its name. 2 pastries + 2 coffees ~ $26

The only thing authentic about this bakery is the name . Croissants do not have the right buttery flakey consistency and the baguette is more like a baguette shaped loaf of bread (no air pockets and not crispy )

This came highly recommended by local friends who had nothing but good things to say about this bakery. On a recent trip to the Bay Area, I tried a couple of their pastries to go! Fantastic layers and flavours for both: croissant and peppermint bark brownie. Both reheated well in the oven! Happy to return and try more!

La Boulangerie, our favorite local bakery. Love to stop by for their baguette and a chat with the staff. So thankful we have one in our neighborhood!

The service is shitty, the food look and taste old , it's like they made it days earlier. I ordered a macchiato and it took them 10 minutes to bring my macchiato, that's not all, on top of that, it's in a little baby cup that's not halfway filled up. Worst place I ever ordered a a croissant and coffee from. Am I be an American, but I grew up in France, and this is not how French dish taste like. J left that damn coffee for them to drink it themselves l, and something else that probably won't be good but, Kne thing for sure, I'm not letting them have my money either.

Ordered a tea drink here with friends - pretty good. This 3 star is mainly for the restroom. I understand that the place wants it to be customer only, so they use a "buzz" control. Once they push the button, you can push the door and get in. The restroom was messy and dirty like a public restroom. The buzz system was on like every 5 sec - gave you the feeling that someone is pushing the door all the time and try to break in......

I ordered a dozen of these for a Christmas gathering on Monday morning and was unable to eat/serve them because they were severely undercooked. Took them back Tuesday morning and multiple employees acknowledged they were undercooked. They tried to give me a refund, but they couldn't find my order (not by my card number or my order number from my receipt). I was told I must've ordered via DoorDash and I needed to call them directly. Despite the fact that I had been showing them an emailed receipt that was within their branding and the phone number at the bottom of the receipt was the Pine street location's and said their store name. I have called them multiple times and no one has answered. When I sign into my DoorDash, there isn't an order and I don't have any emails from them (everything just says La Boulangerie) and so I have no way to contact them. I would really like a refund. Can anyone help me? Thanks.

Stopped by La Boulangerie with a friend for coffee and eats.We had a few of the pastries, but the ham and cheese croissant was the one I enjoyed the most. I had a cold brew as well which was good. Some seating inside. Back seating is very hot with all the machinery. There are a few tables outside as well.Street parking only.

Caramel latte was delicious - they make their own syrup and you can tell the quality! Fantastic friendly service, and of course delicious breads. Raspberry pistachio croissant was fabulous!
