At 7 dollars for a latte, you'd think in the capital city of tech they'd at least be willing to provide decent internet.

This bakery used to be one of my favorites, now it’s sad that all orders they packed to go, using lots of bags even if you decide to eat it there. 0 welcoming place ??

I’ve been to La Boulangerie a couple of times. The pastries and their Mediterranean grain bowl (in the cold food section) are good. The place is a bit overpriced for what it is though.

Ran in for a coffee after work but no drip coffee left - couldn't even get an espresso - an hour and a half before closing!Got a cold brew (prepackaged) and a stale pastry.Very disappointed in how bad this location has become in the last year. Staff just weren't interested in customers at all! Will keep on driving in future too many good coffee spots to return here!

Nice spread and the goat's cheese and kale quiche was amazing. Coffee was good, too (oat milk available). The veggie empanada and the pistachio croissant unfortunately didn't taste as good as they sounded. Baby high chair available. Sadly, everything was served in throw-away cups and paper bags/plastic containers even though I explicitly said we'd eat in and didn't need it wrapped. Please cut back on the trash! Other than that, can recommend.

They said they have nothing vegan. It looked like some brunch items could be, but that's what they said.

Awful service and low quality food. Ordered avocado toast and asked for an egg on it like 3x to this women and they forgot to add it to order and when I asked about it she lied and said I never asked for an egg? Like what? And then they tried to still charge me $3 more for the extra egg and we're gonna make me wait to fix it? Hell no. Not for the absurd price everything is already. Why should I have to pay for their mistake. DONT COME HERE

Stale baked goods. Stale cookies. Stale croissants. Average brownie. The only thing that was decent was the financier. Shame on them. If it’s not fresh, you don’t sell it. The $28 they made off of me won’t offset all the money I will never spend there.

Great for fresh to go foods. Love their seasonal salads and baguettes sandwiches, also their tropical green tea and small specials like beets with ricotta! My go to before work.

I want to like this place. But every time it's the same dismal experience. $3.75 plus tip for an espresso. Served in a paper cup. Tables mostly full with laptop zombies, the free spots to sit are all filthy. French it ain't.

I have been going to La Boulangerie for quite some time. I enjoy the ambiance, the service and the delicious coffee, tea and drinks. Today, I enjoyed the brioche with eggs, mozzarella cheese and bacon and the bread was toasted to perfection. The tomato soup was delicious as was the hot tea which was Earl Grey with milk. It was quiet and I was able to complete some work on my phone and had a wonderful meal. You will love it. Enjoy!!

This café is just down the street from our house, so we are frequent visitors. It has a nice ambience - the café gets great light, and has a lot of space. There is also outdoor seating in the sun, which is a plus on warm days. It's also a good place to do some work if you want to escape your house or office. The downside is that it's really lacking in the food department - at least, as far as local cafés go. During the week, they have a couple of prepared salads and some sandwiches, but options are extremely limited and they run out of most things by around 1pm. The sandwiches are the best of the options. Skip the salad with beets and pears, the pears are brown by lunchtime and the dressing is a thick mayonnaise. there are many better places for lunch in Noe Valley. I'd recommend grabbing a pastry and a cup of coffee instead :)
