Tiny little cupcakes place with great cupcakes and many many options for the ones either sweet tooth!Highly recommend if you're in the area. They don't have much seating though so easier to go!

These were literally the best cupcakes I have ever had. We had them delivered for our small wedding reception and no less than 10 people out of the 30 there asked where we got them because they were that amazing. People even talked about them the following day. We had: chocolate tres leches, caramel, tres leches, passionfruit, red velvet. We also had them delivered and they were very punctual and easy to work with. Thank you, La Luna!!

This place has the best cupcakes! I had the vegan/Gluten free (usually don’t opt for the healthier version of sweets) red velvet cupcake which I usually don’t opt for but it was so delicious! It tasted just like a non-vegan cupcake which I was so pleasantly surprised by. I will definitely be going back for more!

This one of my favorite to go to cupcakes located in Financial District. I have ordered cupcakes from here several times.The prices were higher than most other known cupcakes in SF. However, I will still choose La Luna for special occasions due to the texture, the moist and the taste of the cupcake were amazingly delicious.

Surprised at the high reviews. I tried the tres leches cupcake and the passion fruit cupcake, and sadly both were dry and lacking in flavor. Another reviewer had mentioned that the tres leches cupcake had cream inside, but I didn't see any. With the passion fruit one, there was a small amount of passion fruit puree inside the cupcake that was about the size of a pea. For both cupcakes, the frosting was a mildly sweet buttercream. I did appreciate that the server who rang up my order was super friendly, but these cupcakes just aren't in the same league as Kara's or Sibby's.

Never had a bad cupcake from La Luna. Cake is always moist. Frosting not too sweet. The passion fruit is delicious!FYI, the person that complained about the tres leches cupcake obviously has never had authentic tres leches before. The chocolate tres leches was perfection!?
