There are lots of Rodin sculptures here, and a whole Impressionist gallery with Monet's Water Lilies. My favorites in the Impressionist gallery are Seurat's Eiffel Tower spot painting, Sisley's landscapes, and Monet's Canyons. All in all, the Legion of Honor is a great museum in the Bay Area and perfect for a weekend visit!

Legion of Honor Café offers a unique dining experience, featuring a beautiful patio and a self-service counter. The café serves decent food, including a must-try quiche, and has made some changes to its menu and prices. The service remains prompt and helpful, contributing to the lively ambiance. While many dishes are enjoyable, some, like the salad with pickled beets and the chicken salad, may not meet expectations, with the latter being over-dressed and too vinegary. Visitors also appreciate the café as a pleasant place to enjoy a latte during their exploration of the impressive art museum, which showcases fine works, including French Impressionist paintings by Claude Monet and numerous Rodin sculptures. The vegan soup available is a welcome option for those needing gluten-free choices, especially on cold and rainy days, making the café a great stop for a weekend visit.
