Authentic Italian bakery. 1 product, foccacia, done to perfection. My Italian grandpa lived in North Beach and brought it to Sunday dinners every week. Now, generations later, a stop at Liguria is mandatory. But get there early, or you will be disappointed. 5 star best foccacia ever.

This bakery sells foccacia bread only!
It’s been around since 1911 it’s gotta be good when they only specialize in one type of bread and I was right 🤤 would go back to try different flavors

I will not revisit this place again, because the cashier man was rude. On top of that, the focaccias were overly salty. Unfortunately, this experience has left a bad taste, both literally and figuratively.

Take it from a full blooded Italian born and raised in Genova: this is the real deal.

Went here on a Wednesday morning 20 minutes after opening. Wasn't busy and no lines. Parking wasn't too difficult to find.

Loved the old school, no-frill vibes of the shop. They sold merchandise, olive oil, cans of tomato sauce, their own dough on the counter. I ordered a pizza focaccia and for the size you get it's absolutely worth it. The dough itself is very soft, fluffy and bready while the ingredients didn't exactly have a pizza flavor, but it was still delicious. I lightly toasted it a few days afterwards and I loved how it came out.

Overall, a staple in the neighborhood for a reason. Homemade goodness. Good customer service. Highly recommend going.

Spectacular focaccias and enormous size. You have to go early because they sell out. You can only buy it to take away.

Hit up Liguria on my way to work on a weekday morning. It was super fast and fresh. Loved the bread. Next time I'll buy their dough for making pizzas at home. I'm sure it'll be amazing.

What happened? You need to go back to the original formula .. I get out of bed so I can receive you focaccia by 7AM time you open your door..
I was disappointed ☹️ you changed your recipe...not the same. Was this because of the remodel, I know you just reopened.
I will try, one more time
