Mama's On Washington Square Reviews
When you can tell that a restaurant is a place you want to dine at is when you can see that the line cooks are all happy, and even the dishwashers looked happy! One of the most amazing meals I’ve ever had! Outstanding service: attentive, and thoughtful. Worth the wait! Five stars out of five!

The absolute best pancake I have ever tasted! And the Scrambled Florentine was delicious. But the coffee … soooo good!! This Alabama girl enjoyed it all. Thanks, Mike, for carrying on an amazing legacy! War eagle!

Mama's On Washington Square is a cozy restaurant known for its classic breakfast and brunch dishes. The menu features popular items like omelettes, French toast, and sandwiches, including the highly-recommended Monte Cristo, which many customers praise as the best they've ever had, especially when paired with homemade jam. The restaurant offers outdoor seating with a pleasant view of the surrounding area, and customers appreciate the attentive service, which adds to the friendly atmosphere.
The restaurant is often crowded, particularly on weekends, with long waiting lines. However, the delicious food and generous portions make the wait worthwhile. Customers also enjoy the daily homemade jams and the variety of breads and flavors in the French toast. While the space may feel a bit hectic at times, the cozy, family-run vibe and welcoming staff help make the wait feel easy. For those wanting to avoid the wait, takeout is an option, but it's advisable to check if phone orders are accepted on weekends.
