“I was excited to try this place, and I ordered a Too Good to Go Bag. I arrived mid-afternoon, and I was immediately greeted by the owner. The place was spotless and welcoming. I proudly declared that a Texan was in the house to judge his kolaches. I had a sausage and egg kolache and a sausage/jalapeno/cheese kolache, and they were a great reminder of home! I liked that the kolaches weren't overwhelmed with the bread, and the eggs were creamy. It's easy to dry out kolaches, and the bread on these was perfectly moist. Color me impressed, I will be back!“

“We were visiting from out of state and wanted a family friendly brunch. Location was great, parking wasn’t too bad. Wooden spoon was extremely accommodating with our kids. The overall staff were so welcoming and so kind, they took great care of us. The entire menu looked amazing, so we ordered quite a bit. Our food came out very quickly. Each dish was so aesthetically pleasing and delicious. Hands down the best French toast I have ever had in my life. We have never had fresh squeezed oranges in our mimosas before, and it was so incredible. What a way to start our morning! I cannot wait to visit San Fran again just for the French toast, I literally cannot stop talking about it to my husband 😂 Thank you for such a wonderful dining experience.“

“We returned to this restaurant twice during our visit to SF, it was that good. Very much enjoyed the garlic soy chicken wings, salmon eggs benedict, kimchi, bulgogi, pimped up ramyun, and of course the bacon.“

“Excellent place for lunch or dinner. The first time I entered a few days ago as a surprise because I didn't know the place and I got carried away by my curiosity. Today again I came out more than happy.The relationship between price and quality of food and service is perfect. The people who work deserve all the respect and recognition. Fresh and very good quality ingredients, treated with respect and head. The burgers, especially, are spectacular. Competent and very attentive service.In a word: absolutely recommended site.Also, a detail: the entire place is open and visible to customers. “I’ve been coming here for years.

Loved the original owners they had a flair for flavor.

The people after the originals were missing something.

The current owners have found the secret in my opinion. In addition to the original vast menu they have added a deep fat fryer so they have French fries now.

My go to breakfast is Fries, two over medium eggs on top and four slices of bacon NOT crispy. And a coffee occasionally. ( I always say a large order of fries just to be sure to be sure ).

It’s a winner breakfast in my opinion.

They still have the vast bagel, crepe, wrap, selections plus the new ads from a deep fryer.

I highly recommend this place for breakfast or lunch. I’ve never tried dinner here …. Yet.“

“If you are near the ballpark before 2 PM stop in for a great breakfast or brunch. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros and the dish just popped with flavor. The Salsa was excellent as was the Pico and the ham I substituted for the pork chorizo. My wife had a scramble with hash browns, which I can testify were awesome as were the eggs. It's been awhile since we had been there but it won't be long before we go back. Excellent breakfast spot.“

“This was a great find, especially as we were staying next door in the Holiday Inn Express, which although it was a lovely hotel, probably had the worst breakfast anywhere during our trip around California.
That being the case the Hollywood café was our saviour! Great menu, high quality food and friendly staff made this our go to start each morning.“

The owner is the one who's attending and she's such a nice person! And, talking about the food... I'd recommend you the Turkey ham croissant... it's really delicious! Or if you want, you can just come to drink a cup of coffee and relax for a while inside.“

“The Broke Millionaire sandwich had a nice presentation and was delicious with all the ingredients complimenting each other. The Dirty Bandit drink wasn’t sweet enough for me but that’s my personal preference because I love sugar. The service was good and the atmosphere was ok.“

Our favorites are the chicken and waffle burrito and their French toast. Their French toast is the best I’ve ever had, soft and flavorful. You must check this place out!“

“Homestyle brunch options here were great! We got the eggs benedict and huevos ahogados. Highly recommend both! Seating is quite casual here, great for a quick brunch stop. Prices are much more reasonable than what brunch would otherwise cost. I'll definitely be back!“
