“January 2025:
Stopped by for Saturday lunch and tried the fried chicken with fried rice. Fried chicken came with a flaky breading. The fried rice was very tasty. The dish came with a little sweet chili dipping sauce for the fried chicken. Complimented the chicken nicely.

The brunch items looked pretty good. Next time, I may try the french toast.

Service was friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back again for more delicious food.“

“I can not express how impressed and blown away I was visiting Neptune’s today “on accident”. I was driving past neptunes today and we ran into car trouble right in front. We got out and pushed the car into the nearest parking lot which happened to be neptunes. We had just bought a used car in the neighborhood and was trying to make it home and the battery just died. We spent some time pulling out the battery and ran next door to the auto parts store to buy a new one. Out of the blue an employee walked us out some water and said “I saw you out here and it’s hot. Wanted to give you some water and ask if you needed help. “ blown away by his kindness I thanked him but we had it covered. Once we got the battery replaced I decided to get breakfast from Neptune’s to show my thanks for their hospitality. Wow was I blown away. The breakfast was amazing , the coffee on point and the hospitality was unmatched. I give 5 stars for all in. My youngest son said. That guy is a good man! And I agree if you’re looking for good service and great food. Stop here! You won’t regret it.“

“You enter through a walkway full of displays. Then a beautiful patio, up a ramp where you can grab a menu and wait in line. You place your order at the register and get a number. We found a table, grabbed ourselves water and waited for food to come out as its made. Luckily we were sharing plates so it didn’t matter how long between dishes.“

“Really great service here. Our server was attentive in the best way—always checking in but never hovering or interrupting the table. She had some great recommendations too and helped us narrow down what to order, which definitely worked out in our favor. Everything came out quickly and exactly how it should, and she made sure both the food and drinks were on point the whole time. It just felt smooth and well taken care of. Add in the fact that the food is genuinely really good and the atmosphere is lively and fun, and it makes for a great overall experience. Definitely one of those places where the service makes an already good meal even better.“

“We picked a week day as we heard it can get quite busy on weekends. The service was great, the food had flavor, yummy! My only concern was the sound carried so they might think of adding baffling to absorb the sound otherwise I'll be going back 👍“

“Came here for breakfast and ordered the French toast combo with a banana milk and a hot cocoa. The French toast was really good and filling, and the drinks hit the spot — especially the banana milk, which was a nice treat. The overall vibe was casual and comfortable for a morning meal. Service was solid and the food came out fresh. Definitely a good breakfast spot overall I had a really nice experience and would come back.“

“I went to Eve’s for Easter Sunday brunch yesterday. There are numerous things that I like about it and will definitely go back.
The customer service is very good; the staff, from the hostesses to the busboys are friendly and professional. The hostess asked us if we wanted to be inside or outside; nice choice.
My only complaint is that we didn’t know who our server was and we did have to wait for our drinks; but still so nice!
The buffet is one of the best that I’ve been to; not a lot of options which I liked but the options provided were off the chart delicious. My complaint was that I had to ask for a plate for myself and my (91 year old) cousin who was on a cane. The food should’ve been hot but people kept leaving the chafing dishes opened; staff should’ve been monitoring the dishes and the food. The crème brûlée French toast was INSANELY good; didn’t need butter or syrup. Eat it just the way it is!! The roasted potatoes were outstanding (lukewarm) can’t imagine how they would’ve tasted hot. They were perfectly seasoned, a bit of crunch from the skins and perfectly cooked within. The buttermilk fried chicken was a little dry and yet, it still had flavor. My cousin raved about the string beans so much that all of us went back to the buffet for a side plate of the string beans; very good!! The prime rib was also very good; better if it had been hot. The shrimp and grits was also amazing better if hot. Another cousin had the lobster mac’n’cheese; loved it. The chef did an outstanding job of not over salting the food; everything had flavor without overpowering each dish. By the time we would’ve had dessert, we were too full; biggest regret was not a bigger stomach because the desserts looked great.
Finally, what stood out among the 4 of us was that the restaurant was full but not loud! We were able to converse without yelling; listen to the background music without competing with it. The management didn’t try to see how many tables they could squeeze into their dining areas; including the patio area. It was just a very nice environment.
I wouldn’t given this restaurant 5 stars had the food been hot.“

“Delicious, fresh and wholesome food! We were visiting from out of town and just googled breakfast in Berkeley, and this place popped up. So glad we chose it, because our food was delicious. Our group had the lox bagel, breakfast burrito, and the jumpstart breakfast with pancakes and bacon. Everything was quality and cooked well. The smoothies and espresso drinks were also great!“
