The service was great, but the food was kind of mid. They really lean into bitter flavors in several dishes, so if you enjoy that you may enjoy this restaurant more than me. The tea I got was horrible, I'm not sure of they brewed it wrong or if that is just how it is, but it did not taste good. Don't get the marshmallow tea.
The Rice, Spam, & Kimchi bowl was ok, but nothing amazing.
The Chickory, Humus & Strawberry Salad was yummy some bites and inedible other bites. I'm not sure what some of the ingredients were but they weren't yummy.
The raw fish was ok, the sauce was not adding anything positive personally, but the fish at least seemed high quality a well prepared.
It was so good 🤤

The veg food options are pretty so so but the group I was with enjoyed the food very much and service was great
I would stay away from the glass noodles if you’re searching for a good vegetarian plate

Great food, great service, great vibes, great value.
Did the tasting menu, 12 dishes, left very full (85 pp). Only complaint was pacing was a bit fast - took us a little over an hour to finish.
Cocktails and wine were great, and the raw fish dishes were my favorite. Very umami, texture, and sauce focused dishes.

This restaurant was amazing, it really hit just the right spot. I was expecting small portions but it was really generous, 5 grown men did not leave hungry at all. The drinks were also great.
So much seafood, but it never got tiring, each dish was unique, flavorful, and expertly made.
Highly recommended.
Absolutely delicious tasting menu. Highly recommend
Amazing food and excellent hospitality. We enjoyed a friendly chat with the bartender and getting to watch him make beautiful cocktails as we ate dinner at the bar.

Loved the shrimp starter and sea bass main course recommendation. Had more items I wanted to taste but was full. The only thing is the bill includes an employee benefit charge and then recommended a 20 percent tip. This is getting ridiculous. Just add everything in the prices.

Loved food, service and vibe.
I have to update my review, the second visit was not that pleasant food-wise. Fried calamari was so overcooked - almost charcoal, other food was nice but not extraordinary, baked hawaii was a huge disappointment this time: what was supposed to be ice cream was a literal piece of ice inside, the base was not fluffy ans looked stale. I was also surprised there were no noticeable updates on the menu compared to the last time we visited around March 2025

This is the best SF restaurant I’ve dined at by far. The hen, wagyu, and, especially, pork were standouts. The taro puff was delicious (albeit pricey for a small bite), and the grilled zucchini was also ridiculously good.
All the cocktails were great, and try the panna cotta for dessert.

Was very disappointed, really wanted to like this place and heard such good things, but from cocktails on, it was completely underwhelming and a little confusing. The Loveboat cocktail reminded me of the free dranks you get while paying slots in Vegas. The sashimi was stringy and chewy and while each flavor was fine on its own, they did nothing for each other. Chicory salad was slightly better, but mostly just tasted like black sesame paste with some random strawberries thrown in. The pork chop tasted exactly like char siu, but not really in a good way. The only thing we really enjoyed was the baked Hawaii. Service was friendly but very slow.

My partner and I left feeling pretty underwhelmed after our visit. The service missed the mark - the staff didn't check in on us and felt a bit robotic overall, which made the whole experience feel more transactional than enjoyable.
The food was decent, the highlights of our meal were the wagyu steak and duck liver bite. Overall, it wasn't enough to bring us back.

Fantastic experience last night at this neighborhood gem. The wagyu was excellent, and the duck pâté and cookie dessert were also standout dishes. The drinks were top-notch—especially when Shawn, the bar manager, is there to guide you. Max also provided outstanding, attentive service throughout the evening. Highly recommend for both the food and the overall hospitality.
