I’ve only eaten here twice, both times dining in for dinner. On each visit, I ordered shrimp—Salt and Pepper shrimp once which was great, and Kung Pao shrimp this time. I’ve enjoyed Kung Pao for decades across the US, and while I’m no expert, this version didn’t feel authentic. The overall taste was fine, but it didn’t quite qualify as Kung Pao. The peanuts weren’t well cooked, and there were too many red onions and bamboo shoots, neither of which are usually in the dish. I didn’t mind them individually, but they were overused. There was hardly any sauce to bring out the flavor, and I missed the taste of garlic, ginger, and green onions. The shrimp themselves were well cooked and generously portioned, but I left the rest. They might want to revisit the Kung Pao recipe to get it right. I still like this restaurant and will return, but not for the Kung Pao.

t is sad to see a local mom & pop restaurant empty. That was the case tonight at 8pm on a Sunday. It is attributed to the amount of non-existent foot traffic on 28th/Judah. The lady working there is a talkative host, welcoming and kind. My tomato beef crispy noodles $16 were OK. They even served it to me separate from the gravy as I like my noodles extra crispy. The noodles were missing the char burnt ends found with restaurants with good wok flavor. There were plenty pieces of beef. Lacking was the zingy or sour tomato taste. The few pieces of tomatoes were pureed too much. Bell peppers and onion pieces were also lacking. A few pieces of ginger were found. I don't like ginger in my crispy noodles. Overall, this was an OK meal. Service was excellent with a very fast kitchen.

New local fave! Solid food, big portions, great price, and amazing service (the lady that's always there is so friendly)! Have tried the wonton noodles, kungpao chicken, and Mapo tofu and all are solid dishes.

Two us shared 2 of the $11.99 dishes for dinner. The food was freshly made and very tasty. Portions were large enough that we had plenty of leftovers for lunch the next day. We will be back.

4.9 stars over all? I think this is a solid 5 stars! Really awesome, super friendly staff that just makes the entire experience so fun! The Beef with Broccoli was really good, as are the Dumplings were great, but we all agree that the star of the night is hands down the AMAZING sweet and sour chicken! Next time we come in, it's a double order of sweet and sour chicken!! 💙💙💙💙💙

Wow! What an excellent value. You can see the pride in product in this hard-working woman-owned business. The food: spectacular! The portions: Ginormous. The service: Delightful! Don’t miss this new resto for great Cantonese style Chinese restaurant. just look at the hosts’/owners’ darling ensemble that matches the decor. * No Liquor… assuming you can byob or order Uber Eats. We had the butter garlic noodles & the typhoon shelter grouper.

Damn good value and very fresh/tasting, the hostess is a hoot. No big round tables, so smaller parties are better when dining in. They prefer cash but take card.

Sunday early afternoon, mostly old chinese people eating here, place was clean, decor was cute and service was prompt.

Pan fried noodles came with a bit too much gravy, for my taste, so they all became a bit soggy mid meal, instead of having a nice range of textures. But the flavor was good and there were generous toppings

Quick, affordable Chinese food. Don’t know how they aren’t more expensive but get it while you can. $12 -$16 dishes for most entrees. Other places charging $18-25 at this point. Food is amazing. Good portion sizes. The interior is cute and pink all over. It’s a vibe
