My family and I visited from Maine, and this was by far the best meal we had while in San Francisco! Also the most gorgeous restaurant. Will be recommending this place to anyone and everyone traveling close enough!

Ordered:
-a cheeseburger and it was so salty! salt is for the weak who do not know flavor.
-a chicken caesar wrap and felt nothing! They should go to New York and learn from Lenwich how to make a chicken caesar wrap!

Trying to get a table here is just ridiculous. Walked in at 4:45 to add names to waitlist and told we couldn’t because waitlist opens at 5:00. Went back at 5:08 and told they hadn’t opened the waitlist yet because they weren’t busy enough, and were unable to take my name or make a reservation. Called back at 5:50 and the waitlist is now two hours long. Just make more reservations available. People will be more likely to come in (and in larger groups) if they know what time they can eat.

Beautiful little gem with a lively atmosphere. The Zucchini Fries are the star of the show and Elena's Espresso Martini are the best in town! The one miss was the Pizza. Sorry to say the crust is similar to DiGiorno style and the sauce is too heavy for a Margherita. They have a variety of desserts, fairly priced but beware of the generous portions. All of them will feed 2-3 people, even the Affogato. Wish they had something smaller after a big meal.

I ate at there yesterday day and I am a big Joe's fan as i frequent either North Beach or Westlake at least once a week. This was my first visit to the one in the Maina. Needless to say, they need a lot of work. The hostesses were rude and didn't explain the wait time when we told them the whole party was present they said we were too late for our table. Luckly the manager stepped in. Then the bartender arguing about Tito vodka versus Grey Goose. She wanted to know why gray goose over Tito , if she doesn't know the difference she shouldn't be a bartender. However, it seemed as though she didnt want to go out of her way to make ome with gray goose. The last straw for me was my leftovers never made it to the to go bag. I ordered a dish to go but my leftovers never made it to the bag. Pretty expensive buger and I would have liked to have ate it the next day. Also, no sides with entrees so you don't get much for the the money.
Compared to their other restaurants you don't get much for the money. A few beautiful dishes and a gorgeous restaurant but I probably won't be back .

I went here on a whim after finishing a run in the marina.

The food: I got the LOJ Cheeseburger paired with wine. Solid and well done, but not exciting. Then again, maybe I shouldn't have gone here if my main intention was to get a cheeseburger.

The service: Absolutely impeccable. Staff was always friendly and my water always filled to the brim. I find it odd how easy it was to find seating but once inside and seated, the place was buzzing in activity. I commend the staff for keeping things running.

The vibe: I'd classify this place as a 2nd to 3rd date restaurant. Might be too noisy to get to know someone for the first time but upscale and intimate enough to impress.

The place is beautiful. The food is blend. If you like the taste of fake truffle oil on fries, a soaked rather than breaded chicken or prime rib go ahead. Poor homeless guy outside. Hope he doesn’t have an indigestion next day.

A good addition to the marina. Place is packed so be ready to wait a bit. I've only been once but will go back. Nice bar, cocktails a little too sweet. Food menu is diverse and everything is brand new as this restaurant was built from an old Lucky Brand retail shop

5/5 on vibe and service, 3/5 on food for the price.

The food was perfectly fine, it was just very expensive and at this price point you’re competing with restaurants like seven hills on food.

Would come back but only for the vibes.

Food/drink highlights were the rosemary chips and the sour

I went here glad this restaurant opened in the neighborhood. The bar staff was really service oriented. I had brunch and ordered prosciutto eggs Benedict. I was served an English muffin that was so old that I could not cut it with a knife. I tried to be nice and say the chef needs to know this was not fit for human consumption. The manager came over and took a few dollars off my bill. I left after leaving server a $20 tip. Management should change brunch manager on Sunday. This was a complete lack of judgement. I felt bad for the service people. Do the right thing.

Little Original Joe’s in San Francisco is a cozy spot that truly shines during the holidays. Their seasonal cocktails are outstanding—perfectly balanced, creative, and packed with festive flavors.

I only stopped in for drinks, but the aroma of their Italian dishes and the beautifully plated food had me wishing I stayed for dinner. The menu promises classic comfort with a modern twist, and I can’t wait to come back to try it.

Little Original Joe’s is more than just a restaurant; it’s a warm, inviting experience that leaves you eager to return.

I had a fantastic late lunch at Little Original Joe’s and absolutely loved the vibe! The checkered floor, big bar, and bright atmosphere immediately made you feel comfortable.
Despite not having a reservation, I was lucky to get a table as the place was packed.
I tried the garlic knots and eggplant parmigiana, both were delicious and more than enough for one person. The garlic knots were warm and buttery, while the eggplant parmigiana had crispy breading, rich cheese, and a tasty marinara sauce.
If you’re in the area, LOJ is a great choice for hearty Italian-American comfort food in a fun, lively setting!

I’d say it’s a nice establishment but the food was not good at all! The Old fashioned was decent
I’m not returning

Vibes here are immaculate. Service is great (Chris, specifically, is amazing). Food is awesome. But deducting two stars because the people who work the front desk are quite literally the rudest people I’ve ever interacted with. Like, to the point where I’d suggest going elsewhere or trying it via takeout. And it’s not a one time deal… every time I’ve been here, they’ve tainted the experience

Kinda generic Italian food. Service was decent but food is lackluster especially considering the price and the options available nearby.
