Hand-breaded mini corn dogs and Pliny. That's the review. Five stars for that alone. Service is good and plenty of TVs to watch whatever sports you want, but really the mini corn dogs and Russian River taps are the important thing.

Local Tap is one of my favorite bar/restaurants in San Francisco. The food is very good with a lot of options and it’s the perfect spot to stop in for drinks and bites on your way to or from a Giants game. Looking for a sports bar? Here’s your place! During Football season, it’s a Packers bar but fans of all teams are welcome. Brace yourself for fun and often, crowds! Props to the staff for handling everyone on game days.

Stumbled on this place. Nice beer menu and asked for a good recommendation. I am typically not a taco salad affectionado but it was the best one I have ever had. The dressing was amazing.

Shoutout to Paul! Came in for cubs vs giants and out first stop was Local Tap after checking into our hotel. Told us to come by next day and he took care of us. When I come back to San Francisco I will be sure to say what up to our guy Paul!

We had the fish tacos, chef’s salad and the cheese curds. …and a beer. Tacos were grilled cod with a great marinade and a chipotle aioli sauce. Perfectly cooked and delicious. The Chef’s salad was fantastic. Crispy bacon crumbles, avocado, hard boiled egg, tomato blue cheese and grilled chicken. We had it with blue cheese dressing. All components were fresh and delicious. The cheese curds are to die for. A must starter. I cant wait to return and try some of the other items on the menu. … and a great beer list.

Bartender was manically nuts, in a good way!

Cool bar if you like drunk bartenders and waiting all night for a beer, can’t even close a tab in a timely manner either. Never going back lol food was the only good thing

We dropped in on our walk to the ballpark from the hotel. Right away we felt like this would be a hang out for us if we lived in SF. It is apparent this is a locals spot. Our bar tender was kind and attentive. We only had a few drinks but the food we saw coming out looked great!
