Great empanadas with a variety of options for a fair price. Also love that they have 100% real fruit smoothies with no added sugar and no dairy. I stop by every so often and they are very consistent.
Cafe Buenos Aires has some of the best empanadas I’ve had in my life. The empanadas are not greasy and full of flavor. They also have the rare nopales (cactus) flavor, which is complex and well balanced. The staff is super friendly and will heat up your empanadas for a good 5 minutes so they taste hot and fresh. Empanadas with the chimichurri oil sauce are a must try and have when in SF.
Each empanada is flavorful and full of authenticity, they also have beignets.
Their caffeine selection is also authentic using fresh ground & pressed beans.
