The chilaquiles were PERFECT!! I’ve ordered them many times at other restaurants and have always been disappointed— they’re always too spicy or the tortilla chips are not crisp. These were just right and with homemade tortillas! Being able to also add on some Soyrizo, I was one happy gluten free, vegetarian camper!
Five star food, five star service, Lucho’s came up on Google as a good breakfast choice in this neighborhood, and it didn’t disappoint. The chilaquiles were AMAZING and a half order left me with leftovers. Didn’t even get a look in/bite in on hubby’s breakfast burrito with cochinita. The aqua Fresca del dia was yummy, as was the cafe de Oja. Service was prompt, kind, friendly and very, very capable. Looking forward to coming again.
I found this place by googling best breakfast in San Francisco, then by reading reviews, and finding a thread on Reddit, everybody was correct- the food is immaculate. I had the cochinita pibli- I am literally mad at other food now for not being this good. The staff was great, the owner was friendly, and it is hands-down one of the best breakfasts I've had in years. Maybe my life. try. The. Benedicts.
