Excellemt food and service. The owner, Luisia, sat next to us and we had a very pleasant time conversing with her. Will definitely return.

We both ordered pasta with different sea food. They were both delicious. Very authentic and flavorful. The restaurant owner was sitting at one of the tables early in the evening. She was an added touch of authenticity and North Beach history. It was a fun and tasty eating experience.

Horrible service. No smile or any personality from the waiter- just rude. Didn't ask if we wanted a drink or how our food was. Food was bland and over priced. No flavour. Avoid!!

I ordered a chicken picatta to go and it was not good at all. The restaurant looked nice.

Seriously, I was really excited to go there after reading all the great reviews! Unfortunately, the welcome from our server was very cold. The pasta with “water sauce” was honestly not great maybe we’re from Europe and expect more from Italian food, but there was really no effort at all. Even the parmesan cheese had no flavor, lmaoo!

We didn’t try the wine, but it felt way overpriced anyway. Overall, not a great experience for us. That said, people around us seemed to be having fun, so maybe we’re just being too picky.

What an amazing experience. We met Luisa herself. She is charming, warm and hospitable. She told us the gnocchi was amazing. It was the best we've ever had. We'll be back!

We went pretty late at night on a weekday so it was empty. There's not a lot of tables so definitely call or make a reservation if you're going during prime dinner time. It's very quiet and great atmosphere. Friendly service. I loved their house red, the bruschetta, and the lobster ravioli in particular.

Lovely place and food with a great atmosphere. Server very efficient and a great choice of wine. Food plentiful and tasty - felt like an authentic Italian experience.

Such an authentic Italian restaurant! Our waiter had just landed from visiting family in Italy. Extensive menu and incredibly attentive wait staff. We will be back when visiting the area

So sad that this place was not the same as the one in Guerrero, the service here is horrible. Rude guys, he told me they don’t have limoncello, no spicy sauce and not manners. I’m glad we still have the one at Guerrero with Sonia’s great customer service and all the team there.

We came here in 2022 and were blown away by it. We visited again and it was not as we remembered it. Luisa's private label wine is amazing. The food was just not as great.

Family of four ate here on a Thursday evening. Smaller place and is busy. Cool area of town to walk around before or after dinner. We got a waiter with little to no personality or conversation. Just “are you ready to order”. Didn't check on us during the meal. Water went empty and not refilled until after dinner plates cleared. Food was good. Kids said their lasagna was good but have had better. I had the Calazone Alla Romana. That was really great, I really liked it and would go back for it. Wife said her chicken picatta was ok. She likes a little more lemon flavor.
