Discovered this restaurant recently and this was my second visit. The food is delicious and place is clean and pretty full on a Friday evening so that says something. The service is okay.
The music was a tiny bit loud and the type could be reevaluated, but maybe it's just me.

Excellent Thai food, as close to authentic Thai flavors that seems possible here. $10 Happy Hour meals and generous portions, staff are genuine Thai with all the charm that comes with it. Despite the authenticity, service is actually extremely quick and efficient, which is not always the case with homestyle thai places. Mee Krob pork is amazing.

There’s a curry of the day on the menu that I get every time I go. Every day is a different curry, I don’t think I’ve ever had the same one twice, and I’ve gotten to try lots of curries I never knew about. Never had a bad one.

The pad Thai was very good but I waited over an hour to be served. Hope this is a rare occurrence because if I were alone (I was with friends who also ordered pad Thai and got their food half an hour earlier), I think I would have left.

We went to Mama Mu’s after a theater performance for a late dinner. We were greeted with a smile by the new owner who was delightful throughout the entire evening. The food was super fresh and flavorful. I particularly loved the Tom Kha soup, the Pad See Ew and the papaya salad. We will come again!

We came here early for breakfast before doing the Moraga Steps a few mornings ago. Really delightful. My wife had the oatmeal congee with some toppings. I thought it sounded a little strange but it turned out to be delicious, so much so she's going to try making it at home! I had the Kai Grata, eggs with ground pork and sausage, yummy. Delicious coffee and yummy toast! Friendly, welcoming service and ambience. This New York couple is so pleased we chose to come here, and hope we can come again!
Btw, thank you for letting us dally to write our post cards in your lovely resto !

So glad I found this place. Finally somewhere in SF to get authentic Thai cuisine with homemade spices and curry. Their dishes were not overly oily or sweet, but fragrant. Really enjoyed the pad kee Mao and the spicy eggplant. Mango sticky rice dessert was also a highlight. Already planning for my return visit.
