We like to grab Take Out when we drive through SF to go to the airport.

Dumpling Bites is a recently opened restaurant celebrated for its amazing xiaolung bao (XLB) featuring a delicate and thin skin that holds plentiful soup, making it a favorite among diners. The restaurant has a newly remodeled, clean, and comfortable environment, providing a welcoming atmosphere. Service is superb, with attentive, helpful, and polite servers who enhance the dining experience. The menu includes a large variety of flavorful dishes such as abalone and pork XLB, spicy pig ears, wontons in chili oil, Shanghai pan fried buns, fried Chinese donut, and sweet soy milk. The wontons in chili oil are particularly memorable, rich with flavor and just the right amount of spice. The Chinese fried donut is crispy and fluffy, making it hard to stop eating. While the pan fried buns are tender and juicy, some diners suggest they could be more pan-fried. The sweet soy milk, served in a cup, has mixed opinions, as some prefer it in a bowl. The savory soy milk in a bowl features a fermented mustard-green taste with chili oil and bits of tofu. Prices are reasonable, and every dish is visually pleasing. Bathrooms are clean and well-stocked. Although there have been health violations noted, which is concerning, many continue to support the restaurant for its excellent food and fast service. Overall, Dumpling Bites provides a cozy setting with great food and attentive service, making it highly recommended.
