I highly recommend dropping in for an afternoon (non-dairy) soft-serve sundae. The chewy tart-sweet mango pieces in the coconut-mango version are addictive.

The sweet and sour chicken here is truly delicious, absolutely top notch. It's really crispy and actually has some sour taste. Jade fried rice is great too.

The spicy chicken sandwich was delicious! Not too greasy or messy, it was perfectly crispy and just the right size for lunch. Highly recommend!

Great restaurant. Highly recommend the Lazi chicken and the mapo tofu. Fresh, fairly priced, and most importantly, delicious. I will never understand the people in the reviews that go to a Chinese American restaurant and then complain that the food isn’t “authentic” enough. The food at Mamahuhu is clearly (predominantly) Chinese American and they do it very well.

Had the lazi chicken, both sandwiches and the malt soft serve; everything met the three F test I just invented - flavor, freshness and fun. Definitely recommend!

I thought I was going to be bummed by the quality of the good because the branding is so hipster, but it is shockingly good. Can't speak to authenticity (whatever that is), but it's flavorful and fresh, reasonably priced, etc. Have gotten it to go and eaten with a beer at 540 Rogues across the street.

A casual spot where you order at the counter and if dining in, receive a number tag for you to put at the table of your choosing. From an ambiance and decor perspective, this spot was really nice. And the staff were also very friendly. However, from a food POV, that's where Mamahuhu fell a bit flat for me. Everything was, well, just okay. Nothing was particularly bad, but nothing stood out that made me feel like I'd come back for more.

I had the chow mein and mala cucumber salad, partner had the spicy chicken sandwich. Nothing mala about the cucumber, zero spiciness in the chicken. I didn't finish anything I ate. It's exceptionally disappointing considering the price and location, Clement has a lot of great food and this just sticks out as an outlier in a serious way. I generally have an iron stomach but my stomach turned really sour after lunch to the point of going home early. The only redeeming thing was the fizzy jasmine tea soda.

This is one of my favorite places to treat myself after a tough day of work. Prices are pretty fair for the quality of dishes and ingredients. My favorites dishes are the Mapo Tofu, Sweet & Sour Chicken, Tomato Garlic Chow Mein. I haven't tried the other dishes but I'm sure they're great. The rice plate includes a house special item plus wok'd veg with black beans, which is my go to when eating solo.Staff is always friendly, location is clean and inviting. Everyone I bring to this place usually likes it as well. I noticed they add and remove items but it could be a seasonal thing or to remove less popular items like the kung pao chicken or the stir fried fish dish.

A very interesting mix of chinese food and western foods. Although there are many traditional chinese dishes I perfer going to a fully chinese restaurant but it was still a very fun experience and great atmosphere! The staff were also very friendly. This is a great resturant for ppl who are vegan or have dietary restrictions.

Food: 5/5Service: 5/5My friend and I both ordered the Chicken and Sandwich combo with Hot & Sour soup. We both opted for the Tingly Spicy Chicken. Both dishes did not disappoint. Service was very quick - food came out in less than 5 minutes! The chicken sandwich was a good mix of sweet and savory with the pineapple bun. Chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy in the inside. The soup had good flavor to it and paired well with the sandwich. Definitely ask for chili oil and their spicy paste on the side - spicy yet delicious! I would be returning here again to try their other items!

Nelson is the man... I called to order pick up while passing through San Francisco, and he totally hooked me up??If you love Chinese food and you love, American food, this American Chinese fusion restaurant is a must-try. The sweet and sour chicken is the go-to dish. The service here, is second-to-none and the food speaks for itself.Vegetarian options: Chow mein with tofu!
