UPDATED - if there is a line, expect a 20+ min wait. After wondering why it was taking so long, there were 2 guys not doing anything and chatting it up behind the counter. Probably won’t come back to this location.

Food is great, but the employees look like they hate their lives…

Marugame is definitely my go to udon shop. Such a simple dish, but it packs so much flavor and texture.

I really like this place because they have really good ramen and really nice staff. You can watch them making your noodles and you get to serve yourself tempura. It's a really fun place to go. The food is really well priced and it's delicious

I ordered the chicken katsu curry, and the shrimp udon noodle soup. Both were terrible. I threw out everything after eating the chicken and shrimp. Would not return.

Even with a long line, it went quick. Noodles were nice and chewy, had many of the flavors, theyre all good. I got a few sides, tempura egg, sweet potato, broccoli, shrimp, and pumpkin. All tasty as well.

Quick, simple, delicious - would visit again when I’m craving udon and tempura. Prices are very good but variable as the tempura is a la carte and quickly adds up. Great udon options from kake, nikutama, curry, etc. The tempura were delicious and fresh.

The line wasn’t too bad on a Friday night around 7 PM, the line moved quick and we waited about 15 min. It’s a bit cramped inside for seating but gets the job done. Parking is also hard to get but we ended up parking behind the mall and walked to the front.

Tremendous restaurant, folks. Absolutely fantastic. I’ve been coming here for a long time—many, many times—and let me tell you, the quality is always there. Some places? They get lazy, they start cutting corners, but not this one. Always consistent, always delicious. Very, very strong performance.

Now, I have to say—unfortunately, and it’s a shame, really—it seems they were out of green onions last time we were here. Not great. Frankly, some would say unacceptable. I’m not happy about it, and quite frankly, I think they should look into that. But listen, we didn’t let it ruin the meal, because everything else? Perfect. First-class.

The wait? Almost none. We walked in, and boom—sat down, food ready. Just like that. You don’t see that everywhere, folks. A lot of places make you wait an eternity—total disaster—but not here. Great service, great efficiency, just a tremendous operation all around.

Would I come back? Absolutely. Would I recommend it? Only to people who appreciate the best, because that’s what this place is. Five stars. Maybe six.
