This classic hole-in-the-wall is my go-to spot for clay pot rice! The crispy crust on the bottom layer of rice, combined with the sweet soy sauce drizzled on top, creates a rich, aromatic blend of flavors and textures.
Great place for clay pot! Small hole in the wall type location, but the food is amazing and the staff are friendly. Some of the customers are very old school traditional, but they mostly keep to themselves.
Parking: There are some nearby paid parking lots and garages as well as metered street parking. If you don't mind walking, there are also some 2HR free parking that's relatively nearby as well.

China Town, a Hong Kong-style restaurant in downtown San Francisco. Classic Hong Kong cuisine. Claypot rice is a must-try. Remember to call to make a reservation before going. The cooking takes some time!
