If you enjoy matcha, get it here. Hands down the best place at the shopping center to get anything matcha flavored - whether it's a drink or ice cream. Lines can get long but they move fairly quickly.
I was very excited hearing about this from family and friends, but they were very stingy with portions. My drink came like this, not filled to the top like i expected from a reputable matcha cafe.
Delicious matcha cafe and the parfait is parfaictly executed. Balanced tastes dancing in your mouth as the many textures of the toppings tantalise. It’s a beautiful must have dessert in Japantown.
ordered the adzuki sundae. the red bean and mochi were delicious. the matcha soft serve was strongly flavored and fresh! highly recommend.
Really solid matcha flavor. I have only tried the ice cream, but I’m sure everything is good.
Amazing and strong matcha soft serve of nice size. I don't eat any preservatives/emulsifiers, and when I do, watch out bloated belly. Well after eating this ice cream from the gods, nothing, all good. I give it a Betty award of excellence...I am Betty.
Stopped in for the Golden Sho-Gun (24K Golden Soft Serve). The screen in the shop shows a cone fully draped in gold leaf; what I received was a small patch of gold on one side, with the rest of the swirl bare. The matcha itself is creamy and pleasantly bitter-sweet and the waffle cone is fresh, so flavor-wise it’s solid. But the draw here is the gold, and the presentation didn’t match the advertising. At $11.90, it feels overpriced for what’s essentially a gold-leaf accent. Either apply the gold as pictured or update the menu to show what’s actually served. I’d come back, but for the regular matcha—it’s the better value.
We got both the Matcha and Hojicha lattes. The matcha is pretty good honestly, no complaints there, though it was batch-made.
This was my first time trying Hojicha, and while it was freshly made and very flavorful, it came out pretty gritty, and it seemed to be not fully mixed since there was still a lot of the powder suspended in solution rather than dissolved, so it was grainy while drinking.
Overall, though this place does receive great reviews so maybe this was a fluke. I would be open to coming back again, but for the price and experience I received, I just can’t give it five stars yet.
Workers in the store saying when order large ice matcha cannot be full their boss saying this is new rule because matcha powders are expensive!
Macha-venilla soft cone was good. So was macha latte.

Yummy soft serve! Ube was also fantastic!
Delicious matcha ! Fast service no wait time :)
I got a strawberry matcha and it was weak and unsatisfactory in the matcha flavor. I don’t think it really tasted of matcha. In the past, I recall the drinks tasting better.
the perfect matcha soft serve. i wish there was one in oakland
I always love their matcha latte floats !
