This 24th and mission location is a childhood go to for myself though now more modernized has the atmosphere of the locals and their coffee shop styles of community meeting Austin crowded fast service . Though it is a popular place it is not regularly maintained. Tables are often left long periods of time due to lines to order and the community whom choose to stay and visit. The elder socializers dominate the tables. Service is fast but often sterile

Today I was truly mistreated by management. After a lady's kid kept bumping into me while standing in line for almost 40 minutes. I said something to her kid asking him to go stand next to his mommy. His mom got upset b/c I said something and proceeded to harass me. She has a child in her had and is yelling at me so I proceeded to yell back. Eventually turning around to pay for my food, the manager canceled my order telling me to leave. This was absolutely deplorable. She started it. The place is swarming with homeless people in and out of the building. Whatever you do - Don't go here and avoid it at all costs if you're able. It's not worth it. To the manager, I hope you see this review and do better next time.

They have touch screens that say order here and you have to wait in line to use them and then find out that they don't accept payment and they print out receipts for you to wait in line again just to pay . I'm here like 20+ mins before I can even pay for my order then wait some more. You should put signs to tell people not to use the stupid touch screens so they don't have to wait in line twice before they can pay for their order. Then the manager acted like I was dumb for using the touch screens and it was my fault. Worst McDonald's I ever been to in my life
