My recent visit to Merkado was a mixed experience. The ambiance is really nice, and they have a solid beer selection that pairs well with the meal. However, the food was a bit underwhelming. The chicken mole was on the salty side, and the enchiladas were just average—not quite the bold flavors I was hoping for. Given the price point, I expected a bit more in terms of taste and quality. Really nice place. We went after the ball game and showed up really early for our reservation… we were welcomed and served in the dining room by the owner.
Shrimp tacos with chimichurri was amazing. The Queso fundido was absolutely delicious and the elote was A+...not to mention the Paloma and Once in a Melon cocktail...can't forget the great service.

Authentic chips and salsa and street tacos that are as flavorful as they come. The pork was tender and well seasoned and their tortillas are the absolute best. The server was super friendly and helpful and was attentive throughout our July 4th afternoon. Thumbs up to their music choice- 70’s and 80’s rock and roll made the afternoon.

Ordered chips with guacamole ?, two pork taco and an IPA on tap. Chips tasted fresh. Guacamole also was very tasty and fresh. Would order that again. Pork tacos had a lot of topping. Wish they served on two corn tortillas instead of one because it was really hard to eat. Flavors were good. Beer choices were good. Wish they had a hazy IPA option.
Overall, very pleased with my meal and would definitely come back again.
