I ordered a cake on a Friday for Sunday and they had it ready on a Sunday afternoon. I was satisfied with their quick service for making a cake on short notice. Cake was very pretty and chocolatey. It was quite rich and luxurious. Tasted even better a bit warmed up. I would suggest giving more than 2 days notice for some of the cakes. The ambiance of the store is pretty cute and colorful. I would be back to try other desserts.

Perfect place to visit during Easter or anytime. Tucked away in hip Hayes Valley across from the park you might miss Miette but Don't! The interiors are beautifully executed in white & pink displaying sweets and treats that would make anyone smile. You almost feel like you're in Europe. Do recommend and We'll be Back!

Creative cake maker; couldn’t have asked for a better bakery to help out with our wedding. Excellent service, on time delivery and an absolutely delicious cake. Highly recommend the carrot ginger and double chocolate. Their pistachio macaroons are simply decadent as is the dark chocolate toffee. Love this place; A+++

Love Miette. Used to frequent the Miette in the Ferry Building, but this store in Hayes Valley is adorable. Some of the best cupcakes ever. So pretty and love their buttercream frosting. This store is also really cute with an ole fashioned candy store vibe. They have lots of cute glass jars of candies from both domestic and imported makers. And they also have yummy cookies and macarons. Service can be a hit or miss sometimes as some of the staff working there seemed bored.

Custom orders take a while here; all their cake varieties are decadent and delicious. Service can be hit or miss.

I am very disappointed, got an $80 cake for a friend, order it 2 weeks in advance and paid for it , I asked to write happy birthday and her name on it, but when I went to pick up today, the day of the birthday celebration, they forgot to write the Happy Birthday and my friends name, and they couldn't do it on site, so the cake looks generic, like it came from Safeway with the Hayes Valley price tag! And they didn't even have a sign to put on the cake saying happy birthday! This is the last cake I will ever buy from them!

Came here yesterday with my daughter, she loves the macaroons. They have a lot of nice things given you come in for a birthday type deal. The service was great, everyone was super helpful. Highly recommended.

Cute little candy shop that's like the ole school Candy Factory store but an upscaled version. Of course, I found this place on yelp, and of course, I hightailed it over there during my lunch break to get their French macaroons. They were absolutely delicious. Fresh, variety of flavors available, and just tasty. This place has so many variety of candies - from chocolates, to hard candy, to licorice, to gummy bears. If you have a sweet tooth, check them out.

Miette has the yummiest and cutiest macarons I've tried. Also the cupcakes were a hit especially their chocolate & Italian meringue, it wasn't too sweet, it was perfect.

Minette is a cute French patisserie offering gourmet bakery goods and an assortment of candies. The charming pastel colored space is vibrant and welcoming. I stopped by this patisserie to buy a set of 8 macarons and try their chocolate and Italian meringue cupcake. The set of 8 macarons includes 8 different flavors -1. Chocolate2. Pistachio3. Dulce de Leche4. Pumpkin5. Hazelnut6. Rose geranium7. Coffee8. VanillaUnfortunately, they all look almost similar except for chocolate. The set doesn't come with an info card to mention the different flavors in the box. When my friends and I tried them all, there were some flavors that were easy to tell and some not so much. Rose macaron had a really strong flavor while some others had mild flavors (pistachio and hazelnut)The macarons were a bit dense. The shell wasn't as crunchy. The chocolate and Italian meringue cupcake was decent. The meringue had the right consistency and flavor, but the bread didn't feel as airy and light. The gummy was a nice touch.

My daughter went to visit and brought me back some bulk candy that was old. Definitely need to check the shelf life on some things.

Would've been 5 stars but -2 stars for the missing candied peanut thingy. I ordered a dozen of the "chocolate with Italian merengue" cupcakes for my best friend's bday. These are our absolute favorite cupcakes, however, when I received the cupcakes I thought the little red candy looked different but just assumed it was a lighter color - maybe they used a different ingredient. Also, I was in a rush as I was late for the bday party. Unfortunately, when we went to eat the cupcakes we realized they replaced the wonderful crunchy candied peanut/baked bean thing with a little jelly bean. Can't tell you how underwhelming that cupcake was, don't stray from the original! Also, they asked me to write a review of my order and because they didn't like what I said they refused to post it to their website. Would still eat their cupcakes again but I feel like they owe me and my bff a free cupcake

Although I really enjoyed their hand-wrapped caramels, I was extremely disappointed in their chocolate. I bought the Halloween ghost chocolates and they were inedible. They tasted like Nestle Rice Crispy Chocolate, but not even that good. How can a candy store allow their standards to sink that low? The young girl working Sunday was very sweet and honest enough to admit the company does not make their own chocolate. I respect her honesty, but they charge too much for that poor quality. If I was them, I'd raise my standards QUICK before the store goes out of business.
