A delightful dinner served to perfection. From the host (who we found out later that he was the GM) to our server and to everyone who came by the table to serve us, they were all wonderful. It was our second visit here and we mainly came to try their Michelin Rated Burger. We also ordered the Heirloom Roasted Beet and Citrus Salad, Steak Tartare which was both incredibly flavorful and delicious. We got the M&L Burger which did not disappoint and the French Dover Sole. Wow! The presentation of the French Dover Sole was amazing. They finish cooking it tableside and you do not want to miss this. We were so amazed by all the dishes at first bite. It's the feeling in that one moment when you take that first bite and the flavors create fireworks in your mind, you know you're in for the best meal of your life. Thank you to the all staff and Chris Brown for your attentiveness and service. We'll be back for sure! Pro Tip: They have a private entrance to the Chase Center! Our first time here was before a game and we were table to utilize the special entrance. We felt very exclusive! Game days get really busy so plan accordingly. Highly recommend making reservations ahead of time!

Miller and lux was the worst experience I've had at a luxury steakhouse in the longest time. Especially when the table next to us had the red carpet rolled out for them. I had to wait 30 minutes just for my beverage while my neighbors had the steaks presented to them at the table, a tour of the kitchen, and the common courtesy to pull out there table to sit comfortably. I would never recommend this restaurant after this treatment. Lastly maybe I could have forgiven the bad service if the food was exceptional but this restaurants dish are that of lipstick on a pig and I really want to enjoy my celebratory dinner.

So, the second time, but came for my father's 45th Work Anniversary. I'll start with the wait staff, aside from the other beautiful and many restaurants my family and I have been to and aside from my own knowledge of fine dining as a retired waitress, I would rate this experience a 6.5 at Best. The uniforms/ suits helped, I guess. Next, the ambiance. We fortunately had the view of the waterfront, (which being from the Bay Area is really just a ship yard), but of course whoever designed the inside clearly knew how to make something ugly, beautiful. We sat in the booth that had the view and faced partly the huge, but beautiful pillar, made of some type of oak, (wish we could've gotten a better tour of the interior, but some people just don't have the natural eye, or time. Just sell sell sell!). The lighting is what makes it thee perfect date night. Nice, dim, but not too dim at all. Yellow hue lamps. Music is nicely low, but not too low. The nice peanut butter leather couches gives it the Perfect sexy 'Mad Men' vibe. A nice small wine cellar that is off to the side where if you didn't look quick enough you'll miss. The tackiest thing though was the streamers. Felt like we were in the club getting VIP Bottle Service. What happened to an intimate single candle? *sigh* ..moving on to the "Best" part. THE FOOD, where do I start? Starters? It shouldn't be so basic that they're still serving bread as the starter,, but unfortunately it was. It was like a burnt croissant upgraded version of the Cheesecake Factory bread. The bread was big, Crispy and awkward to eat. So, none of us touched the bread. Thank goodness we didn't have silk dresses on- they would have been horribly ruined and greased up! Next were appetizers. My family and I are unofficial Pescatarians, so of course Oyster were asked of, unfortunately plain as day with none of the usual side fixings like vinegar, hot sauce, and/or cocktail sauce. If we asked for it there was a subtle sigh from our male waiter. However, the steak tartare was pretty good, but the lays chips served with them could have been better. At least it had the quail egg.. The parents usually ask for a Manhattan and unfortunately they were lighter than a Tequila Repasado straight up, but unfortunately this one was doused with the oversized ice cube like an Old Fashion would. No wonder they were able to have 3 to themselves and walk out perfectly fine. Manhattans are supposed to be dark brown/burgundy, with NO large ice cube. Hmm.. We ordered the truffle mushroom salad, which too was only tasty because of the variety of mushrooms, but not one ounce of seasoning on them.. Some truffle fries were added as a side, and a beautiful Beet salad- too straight from the garden, but appreciable. MAIN COURSE We weren't given too much time to decide on what we actually wanted for our main course, (at least for my sister and I) because the dark haired shorter gentleman that served (barely waited) us just did not have any patience for us to decide, so after he was politely asked to come back -(still too soon when he arrived ), I just gave up and had him to decide for me on what meal I should indulge in. My father as expected got the Burger, mother the Filet Mignon, I the pork chops?! ... And my sister felt so rushed she just shared with me. It was a lot of food for our tiny (just had garlic fries) tummies. The Burger is probably the ONLY thing worth getting on the Main Course section. Nice and juicy, with the right amount of fixings. The poor Filet Mignon was smothered, yes, SMOTHERED in gravy. This ain't Texas and PLEASE HOLD THAT! I've never had gravy smothered Filet Mignon in my life. was basically eating a Country messy meal. And finally, to the Pork Chops that was recommended by our waiter. The seasoning was light, but not memorable. The Desert! They have this HomeTown Buffet/ Golden Choral set up for their desert. Cute lil cakes of chocolate, cheesecake and others like the sort on this wheeled tray that is exposed to the elements of

Miller and Lux was a beautiful experience! The interiors alone was beautiful kinda art deco with a modern twist. THE FOOD and the service...was amazing I don't think would've eaten that much but we did. The service was so good. They were quite busy but still made sure to check whenever they could. DESSERT is a must, I got the individual cheesecakes I highly recommend it.

The food itself exceeded expectations as I had somewhat low hopes for trying to navigate a vegetarian meal at a place that offers a $350 steak. Both the brassicas and beet salad were excellent unto themselves. However, in the grand scheme of trying to craft a meal, Miller & Luxe eschews catering to a broader crowd--even the marquee Caesar Salad contains fish--and leaves the vegetarian crowd putting together a piecemeal dining experience. While the spectacle of the restaurant holds appeal, the overall effect was frenzied congestion. Plus, the food arrived in an unfortunate staggered sequence for our party of six. Several people were left without food for long stretches while others' dishes got cold. Different orders of the same dish were brought out for different courses. The specific items I tried were nice, but the chaotic environment and meat-heavy menu leave something to be desired.

The ambiance and service were all impeccable. The food was great, but we felt like it needed a pinch more salt for every dish, especially the tomahawk steak. It's a fun date night (there were champagne, dessert, and steak carts) in a beautiful setting overlooking the bay.

Chose this restaurant for a work colleague retirement celebration (11 people). What a mistake. Very disappointed and upset at our choice. The food is terrible. We all ordered steak dishes (Tomahawk, New York, and Filet Mignon). Very disappointed in flavor and taste. Everyone's meat dish came out cold. And the meat does NOT taste of high quality. Also disappointed in the choice and taste of the sides. The mushroom sides has no flavor and is done poorly. I don't mind paying for good food. But when the entire party returns to work complaining about the food, something is wrong. On a good note, the waiting and managerial staff are very professional and knowledgeable regarding the menu. But that is not enough for a return visit. Definitely do not recommend this restaurant.

Smoke & mirrors- really great smokey drink. I'd get this again. Fall canapés (Shrimp croquette, Smoked salmon tea sandwich) - both were very good, just very small and I'm not sure it was worth $5 each. One canapé is not shareable. There was one canapé that was like a savory cream puff that was just ok for me. I can't remember the name. Truffle deviled eggs- this came with 6 halves and was amazing. Truffle flavor was strong. I'd get this again. Caesar salad- very good and wouldn't mind getting this again. It comes with anchvies Maine diver scallop Provençal- this was bomb. It had a lot of seafood, not just scallops, and the rice was nice and crispy. Service was excellent. I came for a birthday celebration and we were all really excited to see each other. The Caesar salad was a whole presentation and I think the staff noticed that we weren't paying attention so they came back and started the presentation from the beginning. At the end, they prepared the leftovers and bagged it. They also opened the door for me to enter the restroom. Everyone was very friendly and didn't make us feel rushed even though we were the very last customers there.

Stepping into, one is immediately struck by its excellent ambiance, a blend of elegance and warmth that sets the stage for a memorable dining experience. The service, too, was impeccable, with attentive staff ready to cater to every need. However, the journey took a slight detour when our eagerly awaited dishes arrived, only to find them disappointingly cold. Despite the initial chill, the standout of the evening was undoubtedly the risotto. Served piping hot and bursting with flavor, it was a testament to the chef's skill and dedication. The fillet mignon, unfortunately, failed to meet expectations, arriving cold and lacking the desired tenderness. Even the truffle fries shared the same fate, arriving at our table with a noticeable chill. To their credit, the staff quickly acknowledged the oversight, going above and beyond to rectify the situation. Not only were we not charged for the subpar steak, but we were also treated to complimentary desserts. And what a treat they were! The desserts not only delighted the palate but also dazzled the eyes, a true testament to the artistry of the pastry chef. In conclusion, while the culinary journey had its ups and downs, the exceptional service and the culinary prowess showcased in dishes like the risotto and the stunning desserts left a lasting impression. With a bit more attention to detail in ensuring dishes are served at the appropriate temperature, Miller &Lux has the potential to truly shine as a culinary gem in the City

I don’t usually write reviews but we picked this place to celebrate our anniversary and were very disappointed in how the staff treated us. They forgot my drink order, served us burnt bread, and completely forgot to ask us for dessert. Our server Mike showed very little to no interest in us. The steak was decent and Joel was sweet but not worth going to considering the service.

Nothing more to say than damn. This place is worth every cent you will spend. Service. Food. Ambience. Decor. Top to bottom. I'll make this a regular go to.
