Mongkok Dim Sum Reviews
Delicious, no nonsense dimsum. Great quality and value. Long lines.
Hargow - 4/5. Good amounts of shrimp with a hit of white pepper.
Shu-mai - 4.5/5. Less cornstarch than typically used, which led to a nice meaty texture.
Wintermelon cake - 4/5. Not too sweet, nice texture.
I've always loved this place for a quick set of take-out dumplings or rice rolls. I just wish there were more vegan options. Had the peanut dumplings recently, which were great and full of veggies.
One of my favorite dim sum to go places in the sunset

Mongkok Dim Sum is a popular morning spot, open from 7am. Their shrimp dumplings and siu mai are highly praised, with large and juicy portions. The baked pork buns are only available from 11am, but the dumplings and shumai remain must-tries. The vegetables are also a highlight, and the restaurant serves delicious BBQ pork buns that kids love. The staff, known for being friendly and helpful, make the experience enjoyable. Although the restaurant can be crowded and space is tight, the fast and easy service makes it a good choice. Parking is available with paid options in front and free street parking nearby, especially if willing to walk. Overall, Mongkok Dim Sum offers great quality food at reasonable prices, making it a recommended spot for a quick bite or takeout.
