First time getting pizza here. We got take out, so I don't accually know what the dine-in experience is like. I dont even know what the inside is like, since the husband picked up, but as far as the pizza, for what it is, five stars. And what it is is top notch, comfort food "childhood" pizza - the kind from a pizzeria that was kind of dark inside with wood paneled walls and a few light-up beer signs. Most likely they were for Hamm's and/or Olympia. There were two and four tops along the walls, but the middle of the dining room was for big tables to accommodate the end-of-season pizza parties for little-leaguers and soccer teams. There were also a couple of arcade games and a pinball machine. Some teenager with a muscle shirt was always playing. Pizza was served on those aluminum trays and pitchers of fountain root beer was drunk out of those tall red plastic cups with the pebbley texture on the outside. With the pizza from Monza, the cheese is gooey, the crust is both crunchy and chewy and perfectly cooked with those little crunchy sauce-and-cheese bits at the edge of the crust. It's what you remember from the halcyon days of your youth, but leveled up. Because back then, in the nameless pizza joint from back in the day, the crust was maybe a little like cardboard and the cheese somewhat plastic, but you were happy with all your friends, and full of sugar from the root beer, goofing off and punching each other in the arm. And so the pizza, however mediocre, was like a little slice of heaven for your ten year old self. The pizza from Monza makes you reminisce fondly about those times, but in the here and now you're actually eating good pizza.So we'll be ordering again. This made our gray rainy day.

Our family has been eating and enjoying the food at Monza Pizzeria for quite some time. As a neighborhood restaurant that stays open later in the evening, we have been happy with our orders as pickup or delivery customers. The chicken parm, pesto tortellini with chicken & white sauce, Caesar salad, and antipasto salad with extra feta cheese are all favorites! It's also very kool that Monza will accommodate your desire to add your own variations to their set menu. I like extra anchovies with the Caesar salad, and they give you a good amount, enough for seconds & even thirds!! Their single pizza slices are pretty large, with lots of toppings to choose from. The garlic bread is good, & we wish more came with meals. They also give plenty of croutons, olives & cheese with the salads! Very important details for us!!! And their delivery service is pretty quick with politeness!! Contact or non-contact delivery.
Delicious! Happy that we found our new favorite neighborhood spot. The Hawaiian and pesto pizzas were excellent. We'll be back!

LOVE MONZA!They have it all! Their wide menu selection is great. When I'm ordering for family events I know I can always find a pizza combo that will satisfy everyone! They're super generous with their toppings. My favorite combos are the Portuguese, Prima, and Clara. And the best part is you can get your pizza extra crispy. It makes all the difference!On top of their normal pies, their single slices are MASSIVE for around $8-10 depending on what you want on it. I have not personally gotten their lunch meals, but they look like a steal! Their staff is so wonderful and accommodating! I have yet to have a bad experience at Monza, you can tell they take pride in their business:) Great homey addition to Ocean avenue!

Pleasantly surprised at this delivery! I ordered Hawaiian by the slice (good size/value!), the greek salad (good size/value!), and the mini calzone with pepperoni, and they forgot the pepperoni, but it was still good?!.. so leaving 3 stars instead of 4.And every thing was tasty, honestly surprised! Wasn't expecting much as per most delivery food.Anyway, bookmarking this place, I will be back!

Came in here for lunch not knowing what to expect and it was absolutely incredible! The owner Marcello was super kind and they make their slices fresh for each customer. Portion size was huge and the flavor and ingredients were top notch. Can’t recommend this place enough.Kid-friendliness: Owner provides schools nearby their pizza and is extremely friendly with everyone!

I recently moved to the area and stumbled upon this pizzeria, and I must say, it's been an incredible find. The owner's dedication to quality is evident in every bite. The calzone here is hands down the best I've ever had - it's generously stuffed and bursting with flavor. The pizza portions are massive and equally delicious.But what pleasantly surprised me even more is that they offer Brazilian food like Coxinha, which is also exceptional. It's not every day you find a place that excels in both Italian and Brazilian cuisine. I highly recommend this pizzeria for a truly satisfying experience!

Best pizza place!!! I love their vegetarian pizza with the additional toppings of clams or the grilled chicken & ground beef. So yummy and reasonable pricing as well for portion sizes. Their Alfredo penne with shrimp and broccoli was also so yummy! Monza is definitely my new favorite pizza spot in the city.

The (I assume) owner is very friendly. Slices are made to order, like they legit start as dough. Tons of options, the one in the photo was freaking amazing, chicken breast & zucchini's. The crust. Omg the crust is amazing. Chewy and crisp in all the right ways. Get the chocolate cake, idk if they make it or if it's the glorious one from Costco but it's grand

I absolutely love this place. Was dropping my daughter off one night and was craving something..... But what???? Saw this place on the way to 7 Eleven and looked it up. I shop by pictures so I thought it looked worth a try from the photos online. Can I say I was not disappointed AT ALL!!!! Not only are they open late but the food was AMAZING!!! I ate almost all of it on my drive back to San Jose lol.The food was so reasonably priced. Food was fresh and fast. Did I mention the portions are everything(I'm sooooo fat).So if in the area don't sleep on this place, I definitely recommend to any and everyone.
