Incredibly beautiful serene space with comfy intimate seating, high ceilings and felt extremely spacious. Highly recommend.

How do they let you know? Tiny black font on a black background in a dimly lit bar that can only be seen if you shine a flashlight and zoom in

I typically tip 15-20% anyways. But the audacity to expect / require this has gotten out of control. Our table was still wet when they sat us. Is that the service I’m required to pay for?
They said “all SF restaurants do this”. I live in SF. That’s simply not true. I know a couple that do and it’s clearly communicated ahead of time, which is fine.
If owners / staff want to rely on “gotcha” tactics to make a few extra bucks, they will lose customers (and be violating SB 478, which makes mandatory fees illegal in SF starting in 10 days on July 1)

Really really good cocktails. Some of the best I've had in a long time. Mule, mezcal cocktail, and old fashioneds stood out. Would recommend going at night vs during the day as the large windows mess with the lounge vibe.
