The place is beautiful, service was okay.We ordered half dozen of Oysters to start it was good. The complimentary bread is good as well.I ordered Merlot Napa valley and my husband had the virgin cocktail something with lavender and it was refreshing. For my main course I had Filet mignon medium rare with lobster and my side was *The troy* its a sautéed mushrooms and onion it was okay though some onions are burned. My husband ordered Grilled pork chop additional of prawns and his sides was Lyonnaise potatoes. My husband was so disappointed with his main course as the pork chop was raw and the Lyonnaise potato was like a square hash brown and fry onions in a plate. He send the pork chop back as it was raw, when it came back it was really hot including plate as it looks likes they put everything in the oven and the pork is over cook so it's tough adding to that they cut the pork chop to half to thin the meat , it was horrible . We did not take a picture of the raw pork chop as we feel upset.

I love it there! The lights are dimmed so gives a romantic feel and the food is soooo good! It's a wonderful little date night experience right there in Sf. We went for hubbys bday & they went all out with a few cool suprises. I won't blow everything, lol you must go experience yourself, & especially if there's a special occasion. I've been to a few Morton's in different locations but this one is the best!

This place takes a la carte to a whole new level. Order steak just get a steak lol. Need a little side salad buy a big salad, want a bit of potato buy a plate of potatoes, want some sauce on your steak, buy a sauce bro. It's funny but not in the haha kind of way. That's like buying your burger and getting just like the patty, and having to buy your bun separately and your tomato and onion and lettuce separately, and then your french fry separately, like you're at McDonald's. Because your $80 steak doesn't cover the $1.50 it costs for your sides.

We love going to Morton's and have visited this location about 4 times in the past year or so. It's always consistent. This time was especially amazing. Our steaks were cooked to perfection!!!

It was lovely. The food was excellent. We shared a rib eye. We ask them to cut it in the kitchen. They forgot but took it right back and brought it back sliced. The sides were tasty and a latte for my dessert. We will go back.

my boyfriend and i had reservations for valentines day, there was supposed to be heart confetti on our table when we got there and there wasn't any. jenna was our server, she did not introduce herself to us, she did not check on our table that much and i felt like she was rushing us. i thought maybe its just because it was a busy night, but then i heard her introducing herself and giving great service to the table right beside us and me and my boyfriend felt very discriminated against.

Celebrating my wife's birthday, our experience could NOT have been better. Our server Bryce was attentive & gave us a relaxed evening...not rushed or too slow! The dining room is lovely & we sat at a banquet table...the food is spectacular! definitely enjoyed the Filet Mignon & lobster tail! a la carte offers several yummy sides! great martini too! special touch was having a complementary photo taken & given to us... will go there again soon! Arrived for Valentine's Day dinner and were greeted by three hosts/hostesses. Although not overly welcoming, we were promptly seated despite being slightly early for our reservation, likely due to many empty seats available. We ordered a Caesar salad, which was great, a supposedly 36oz Tomahawk steak (delicious, though it didn't seem that large), and a standout Lobster Mac and Cheese. The sour cream mashed potatoes were mediocre, while the truffle fries were ok. The Passion Margarita is not recommended. Dessert: Sticky Toffee bread pudding was pleasantly warm and decent. Overall, the experience felt like dining at a regular restaurant but with higher prices. Customer service was as expected, not outstanding but not terrible either. Given the occasion and the amount spent, we anticipated a more special touch, perhaps a single rose on the table, but nothing stood out. It felt like an ordinary day rather than a Valentine's Day celebration.

I'm not the biggest fan of steakhouses. However, for a night at the SF Playhouse (or anything around Union Square) this fits the bill. It's very straightforward and well executed. The scrimp cocktail was classic, along with the salads, and the bread might be the best part of the meal. The lambchops were excellent, and the ribeye was good. The service was fantastic - and I have found that generally true of the Morton's I have been in.

Had dinner for 4 before symphony show. Brought our own wine, which was quickly recognized as a great bottle by our server. Had lobster bisque- presented beautifully and was delicious. Also had wagyu meatballs (very tasty), and bacon wrapped scallops which were enjoyed thoroughly. For maincourses, we had filet, Cajun ribeye and wagyu, clearly American, steak. All were cooked to order perfectly and were fantastic at their respective price points. Sides of Brussels sprouts, baked and mashed potato, as well as the Troy were all very good. Service was impressive. Only feedback is that waiter continuously filled wine glasses which allowed faster drinkers to consume more of the precious bottle rather than even distribution. This is a classic steakhouse that will never go out of style!
