Sadly I'm giving this place a1Star review Not because of the food But because of the service and Barbara the waitress Well I order from MO'S at least twice a week through UBER EATS I love the food here ,but today wasn't the experience I expected from them especially BARBARA I put on an order through UBER EATS for a burger and chili bowl However I asked for side of Jalapeños and put that in the comments section since it was the only way After the order went through I received a notification from UBER about price update They Add $1.50 for Jalapeños !!!?? Well kinda understandable somehow even though i spend around $40 at least on each order from them Anyways after receiving the order there was no jalapeños with my order Decided to give them a call to find out since I was surprised they charged me for it in the first place !!!!! I rang the business and BARBARA answered the phone as always I told her what happened and why you charge a regular customer for side of jalapeños anyway She lied ah we did put the jalapeños in the BURGER !!! I was like do you want me to send a picture to see if there's any !! She was like can I put you on hold I was like OK She came back back after putting me on hold for three times Saying you have to contact UBER since we can't issue a refund and hung up I mean why did you charge a regular customer for side of jalapeños anyway again it is not about paying extra for a side it was all about how such people they don't care about their customers

As a local to San Francisco. This was one spot I looked forward to checking out. I invited a friend out for food and drinks and was really impressed by the appearance of the location and the staff. The waiter was attentive and was quick to manage multiple tables. This was especially impressive as there was only one waiter attending the whole restaurant. The interior was comfortable and inviting. I love the North Beach area and have enjoyed exploring Grant streets many restaurants and shops. I would recommend anyone check out Mo's if you are a local or tourist in San Francisco!

Had a burger $12.50. Nice, clean place. There's a grill in the window. There's something about the open kitchen I like. The prices are very reasonable. It's right in the heart of North Beach. Going back for the steak ($29).
Walking around North Beach and decided to try Mo's, knowing it's been around for quite sometime. We were curious about this "no frills" diner. We entered around 5pm. There were at least 5 other tables during this off hour, which is a good sign. We both decided to get what they're known for, BURGERS! Each 1/2 lb patty is grilled over volcanic rock. When you enter, you can see the guy in the center cooking burgers! FRENCH BURGER ~ Best burger stuffed with imported goat cheese topped with caramelized onions on a crusty bun. I wanted medium rare which when I got it, it was a bit more rare than expected, but it was still good. I didn't get sick, so it's all good! But if you're not used to a red middle, I'd go with a medium doneness. The cheese was really rich and tasty! And I also got french fries on the side. (You get a choice of french fries, cup of chili, side salad, cole slaw or a cup of soup.) 5/5 PATTY MELT ~ Burger and 2 pieces of American cheese topped with caramelized onions on sourdough bread. This burger was perfectly medium rare, but the patty was only in the middle and would fit buns rather than two pieces of sliced bread. Basically, you don't get meat on the left or right side. I think if these patties are made to order, it should fit the bread? It just isn't as good if you get bites of onions and bread without meat. If you like meat and bread together, order a hamburger instead and skip the patty melt. The chili was good and a bit more spicy than expected. 3/5 It's about $20 for each burger with a side. That's an extra $4.50 for french fries, coke slaw, side salad, cup of chili or soup. Not bad considering your plate is really full and any hungry person would be satisfied at the end. We'd definitely come back when we're in the mood for a burger!

Customer service: Incredibly rude customer service, specifically our waitress. My girlfriend asked her if they could make a substitution on a food item, and the waitress didn’t acknowledge her question or make a response. Therefore I asked her the same question and the waitress seemed triggered by that and became incredibly hostile. We stayed polite and friendly the entire time, saying please and thank you, but she was hostile and uncivil the entire time serving us. She even went to another waitress and seemed to be gossiping to her about us. It made for an incredibly uncomfortable breakfast experience.The atmosphere: diner is very loud and chaotic, which makes it difficult to have a conversation.Food: The omelette I ordered was not cooked all the way, it was runny inside.Overall a terrible experience.
