Such wonderful Japanese Curry. There were subtle spices and even a slight apple flavor in the sauce. Quality food and good portions.
I got the pork katsu with the potato croquette and my partner got the chicken katsu with the Aji Fry (mackerel).
Also the restaurant has a nice well lit, cozy setting with soft music playing in the background. Perfect for a date! I highly recommend!
Plus, if you are vegetarian they have options for you too.

Just got back from Japan, and I can honestly say this place is the real deal. I had the pork katsu curry—crispy, flavorful, and totally satisfying. Love that you can add crunchy tempura bits on top, and it comes with a side of pickled veggies which adds the perfect bite. I come here at least once a month. The guy who I think is the owner is always super friendly and checks in to make sure everyone’s good. Portions are generous, prices are super reasonable (especially for SF!),...

Absolutely delicious Japanese Curry. Had the chicken katsu. Chicken was crispy and did not get soggy, curry was flavorful, rice was well cooked and sticky. Great service as well. Bonus points for the $4 Japanese IPAs (all day happy hour). Will definitely be back!
