Nucha Empanadas

I’m sorry but nooo babes. They were mediocre and not that flavorful or authentic. The best was the italian one. I mean who wouldn’t eat a hot pocket? Not authentic at all and not worth the money. Also lemonade for $8. Y’all gotta stop. It’s just lemonade. Pack of lemons from Wegmans is less than that $4-6 and then you add sugar and water. Stop. 🙄

I wanted to share some honest feedback about our recent experience at your Stagecoach location. I’ve been following you on Facebook for a while and was really excited to finally try your empanadas after a family outing to the nearby mini golf. Unfortunately, the experience left us very disappointed.

When we approached the food truck, the person attending didn’t greet us or even make eye contact. I asked enthusiastically if we could order the 12 dozen frozen empanadas for takeout, and her response was a flat “ok,” without even looking up.

We tried asking about the available flavors, but her tone and body language were dismissive and irritated. When we asked for a box to carry the empanadas, she said “no”(the only word she really said to us) and it came with no explanation. Selling 12 frozen empanadas and expecting customers to bring their own container seems like something that should be clarified upfront.

It also took four hours to get the empanadas warm and ready. When we finally received them, we thanked her, but she didn’t even acknowledge us. She seemed frustrated and rushed us off as if we were a burden.

When we sat down to eat, we realized there were only 10 empanadas instead of 12!

To top it all off, the worst part is that I had already tipped 15% at checkout. You charge upfront, and the tip prompt is automatic, it felt like just tapping a button without really thinking. For situations like this, I honestly wish there was an “untip” button.

We were so excited to support a local business, but this was a letdown from start to finish. I hope this feedback helps improve things, especially at this location, because as it stands, I can’t recommend it...

Great empanada. We even had a Spanish chicken one, and it wasn't overwhelmingly bell pepper flavored for once. We'd get it again!

I bought their empanadas at the Ferry Bldg farmer's market today. It was 3 for $12* and there are both savory and sweet options. They had generous fillings and were pretty yummy. They are not warm when you buy them there so you have to reheat on your own. They definitely taste much better once reheated. I bought 6 in total since they keep in the fridge for a while.*Their regular price is 2 for $12, but if you go after 1pm, they are 3 for $12 in any combination. There are lots of flavor options.

Empanadas are tasty but they often mess up and don’t send the sauces with the order when it’s delivered and even when you ask and add notes, they keep forgetting. They need the sauces! Guess I won’t be gambling with my orders for delivery here again - bummer!

If visiting SF you just can't leave whit out taste this empanadas. The place it's amazing, the service great and the food excellent
