The food was excellent — we had the Drunkin’ Noodle and Khao Soi, and both were flavorful and authentic. I’ve been looking for a Khao Soi in the U.S. that comes close to what I had in Thailand, and this definitely fits the bill.

The only frustration was the $18 per-person minimum, which we weren’t told about until after ordering. As a couple, we usually like to share an appetizer and an entrée when we go out, so this policy felt restrictive — especially since we were the only ones in the restaurant when we arrived.

Still, the food quality makes it worth a visit — just be aware of the spending minimum before you go.

.
Restaurant policy: 0/5 for lack of transparency and an unjustified minimum spend.

Let's go nuts over Nute's. I must have walked by dozen times not realizing that we have hidden gem in this neighborhood, then somehow I found my way in and sampled. The Thai cuisine influenced dishes are certainly a nice change up from what Corteland has to offer. The pork belly salad wrap gets my high marks, the karage was scrumptious and the Thai curry over noodles wasn't what I was expecting but the flavors worked.
The place is kinda cute once you are inside and feels warm and welcoming. From the outside you don't get that initial impression... Go check it out

Every dish was 👌🏽…. This spot is a gem, and it best of everything. Yakisoba, drunken noodles, karage, gyoza, all of it was so flavorful and just delicious!

This is a crazy hole in the wall restaurant that can only seat 18 people inside and four people outside. Their COVID street dining setup turned into a waiting area. They do not accept reservations. When you arrive, make sure you sign up on the sheet because it gets really crowded for Saturday dinner. In regards to the food, everything was delicious from the appetizers to the entrees. But more importantly, this is the first Asian restaurant I know that did not have rice included in their entrees or side dish. My autistic son was shocked and the only alternative available from our waiter was to have plain ramen noodles.

don't expect to hear from them or get your food if you order to-go.

they never confirmed the order -- but wouldn't answer their phone either to confirm

since i had already paid for it, i drove all the way over there to pick it up; but they clearly lost my order and only found it once i told them the details. but instead of acknowledging that or apologizing, they told me to wait 20 more min. the whole situation felt super disrespectful.

they said that they'll cancel the order when i asked for a refund, but they haven't canceled it yet.

The good: The drunken noodle was delicious and hearty portioned, although a tad too sweet than what I find authentic. The leaf salad was delicious, just a tad small for the price. The kids ramen is a hit.

The bad: The vegan ramen was nothing to write home about- the flavor of the broth was bland and the tofu pieces were stiff. The squid legs were too dry, one large piece was not funny cooked and still slimy (though they kindly brought out some replacement pieces for me when I showed them).

The apps were good, the ramen wasn’t, it was like a broth, there was no body to either one. Should have read the reviews and ordered the Thai soup instead.

I had the Chicken Khao Soi at Nute’s, and it was fantastic. The broth had just the right consistency—not too thick or too watery—making it perfectly balanced. It had a mild spiciness that kept it from being too rich, which I really enjoyed. I also ordered the Spicy Miso Ramen and Okra, and everything was delicious. Despite the restaurant being very busy, the staff remained polite and attentive. I went on a Friday at 6 PM, and the line was quite long, so I recommend visiting during off-peak hours for a shorter wait. I would definitely return when I get the chance!
