I grew up in San Francisco and live in NYC. I wanted to show my wife some California cuisine while we were in town and I came across Octavia. We did the tasting menu and it was marvelous. Fresh, local ingredients with stunning flavor combinations. We enjoyed every dish thoroughly

This is my favorite restaurant in SF. The dishes are unique, interesting, and full of flavor. And the experienced staff elevate your time here. They're always amazing at curating the right wine to go with your meal and describing the different flavor profiles of each dish.

The desserts are also so creative and are my favorite part!

Octavia was a great date night. We are from out of town and it is located in a quiet part of the city. We had last minute outdoor dining reservations. Inside looks nice and upscale while still being comfortable. We sat in one of their wood street seating areas that had amazing heaters and a beautiful olive tree with lights for ambiance. No liquor here, but my wife had one of their house cocktails and it was really good. The sea bass was perfectly cooked and the buttersquash pasta...
