Went with a party of 12 and joined the waitlist early so we were able to get seated pretty quick! Our table ordered one kalbijim medium spicy with cheese and one mild kalbijim. Between the two we liked the medium spicy with cheese a lot more since we thought the mild one a little too sweet.
Meat was super tender and so were the veggies, and it paired very nicely with the purple rice! Wish they had more variety for their side dishes but rly delicious over all, just a little...read full review
Pretty rare 5 star, keeping in mind I only tried the regular kalbijim. Honestly was startled at the $86 price tag but the food was amazing and the portion was almost reflective of the pricing (two people might even be able to eat it for almost 3 meals).
* the wait was pretty long even after being checked in and still had to wait an additional 20 min. Other than that would definitely return
The galbitang is soooo good here. I've tried their galbijjim which is also good, but if you want something light, the galbitang is great! The galbitang's broth was my favorite. I am drooling just by writing this review. The server was very nice and was very quick with refilling our side dishes! When you're in SF and you want something light good Korean food, you need to come try Daeho!
