Simple wonderful time and experience here. Simple but yet elegant decor for a small place, with music (background, can be loud sometimes). Parking is found by street parking, we parked couple blocks away, free of course. Friendly, attentive and cheerful service throughout our dinning. The foods are fresh and very delicious. We couldn't stop ordered from one to the next and many more. It was a delicious dinner with great service overall.

Incredible quality and service - if you are looking for very fairly priced, super high quality Japanese food, definitely come here.

The food doesn’t taste good. One piece of uni is 28 dollars. The unagi rice looks like pre made food with the unagi and rice together but separated in the center. Food all look dry. The toro tastes extremely old and bad. WONT RECOMMEND!

The food is delicious and waitstaff very friendly. We go to OKane often but this was the first time we had the Omakase dinner at the bar. Every bite was incredible.

Tried the chef’s counter omakase and left disappointed. The fish was fresh but nothing memorable. There was almost no explanation from the chef or servers, and the whole meal felt rushed. The atmosphere was off and didn’t capture the calm, intimate feel of a true omakase. For the price, it just didn’t deliver the experience I expected.

We searched for Sukiyaki and found this restaurant had this dish available. It was just superb! We plan to be back soon!

Amazing sushi at a solid price for the quality. The service was fast and friendly. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a solid sushi spot. Don't forget to order the green tea cheesecake.

Exceptional service with exceptional food. Fish is some of the freshest in the city, with this being one of the few spots to have well cut Chutoro. The servers were polite and attentive, and the chef clearly puts care into their craft. Great for a celebratory night with friends.

Very nice 🙏🏻 It's a day my boyfriend coming back We really like mentaiko udon and Okane roll 🥰 Also the 🍣 nigiri's texture are really good 🥹 Hope next time we can try sushi set or chef's menu !

Food and service were great. We did the omakase at the bar. I would have preferred seeing our chef in action, but we had the sushi fridge in between. That took away a lot from the experience.

The server was nice in the beginning. However, in the middle of dinning, we have ordered additional several dished and another sake, which was too late. We had to ask three times especially for the additional sake and received it after that we almost finish the meal. There was neither any apology nor asking status, which was so disappointing and finishing our meal with no satisfaction.

We came to Okane with high hopes, especially given its MICHELIN Bib Gourmand status. The fish was undeniably fresh and well-sourced, and the menu had some exciting options. But unfortunately, the experience didn't quite come together. A few pieces of sushi had stale rice, which may have been sitting too long, and the service felt slow and disorganized—even though the restaurant wasn't full. Our courses arrived out of order, and our server seemed overwhelmed. It's possible we caught them on an off night, and we understand that every restaurant has those. Still, with a Bib Gourmand distinction, consistency is part of the promise.

Amazing. Best kaisen don I've ever had.

Authentic and delicious! Cozy and reasonably priced too for SF & Sushi. Everyone loved each dish! For ex: Tried the karaage (fried chicken nuggets) at the insistence of my friend... and it was tasty! and not like typical fried chicken. Just go & enjoy!
