Osha Thai Restaurant and Bar (Embarcadero)

Our waitress was so nice. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The ambiance of the restaurant is colorful, large, and very clean. I love going to this restaurant.

There is only one place to go for great Thai food in a festive beautiful environment in San Francisco.... Down to the Embarcadero to OSHA Thai - we are always impressed!

Four of us enjoyed lunch at this restaurant. We ordered whole calamari appetizer, spicy eggplant, papaya salad, and Chang Mai lettuce wrap. We all agreed that the food was very good; and the best dish was the spicy eggplant dish. The wait staff was kind, helpful, and professional. We would definitely return for another meal at Osha Thai.

After watching the Neil Diamond Broadway Musical yesterday, we finally ended up in OSHA Thai restaurant for a happy hour. I made a reservation for 4 at 5 pm. It's been a while I have not returned to Osha Thai since I retired from working in the financial district. The dining room had a very nice decoration and chandelier. We got a good booth table. My friend & I ordered from the happy hour menu that was why we sat next to each other . My sister and the other friend ordered from the regular menu. We got the Blue Fin cocktail drinks and the others just had hot water with nice presentation. We ordered from the happy hour menu like 1.5 dozen of oysters, gyoza, angel wings, fried calamari, garlic edamame. My sister ordered chicken noodle soup and our other friend got the chicken curry. The food was delicious! We really loved the flavors and presentation. Our server Frank was nice. He answered the question of our friend about the other OSHA Thai restaurant locations that were closed. There was another server who was so nice taking our pictures. She knows where to focus the camera. We shall return and enjoy the happy hour menu again.

Noisy, large room. Felt very tourist-y, with many large parties. Food was mediocre at best.

The food was excellent, its presentation was beautiful, and the staff went above and beyond to take good care of us. One member of our group is a vegetarian and she was very happy with the choices available to her. We were a somewhat difficult group because two people arrived late (one of them very late); and the servers could not have been more attentive and gracious about fitting them in and making sure they had a good experience. I highly recommend Osha Thai Embarcadero.

It was the kind of dish that keeps you coming back for another bite. In contrast, the Pad See You offered a completely different, yet equally impressive, flavor profile. Without any noticeable spice, this dish showcased a richness and depth of taste that was simply fabulous. The noodles were perfectly cooked, and the overall harmony of ingredients made it a comforting and satisfying choice. Beyond the excellent recommendations, the service at Osha was attentive and friendly. The ambiance of the restaurant on the Embarcadero also added to the overall positive experience. If you're looking to explore the diverse and delicious world of Thai food, whether you're a Thai enthusiast or just starting your culinary journey, Osha on the Embarcadero is definitely a place worth visiting. Beautiful setting. Varied menu with small and large plate offerings. We shared several small plates including the Fresh Spring Rolls with Prawns with Peanut Sauce, Coconut Curry Dumplings, Gyoza, Edamame, and the Papaya Salad. So satisfying and tasty. Service was attentive and friendly. We dined at the Embarcadero location, with easy access to BART and Muni Metro.

Took a friend and her nephew and mom here and they all loved it! Osha Thai has always been a favorite Thai place in San Francisco. Probably THE BEST Thai Restaurant in the Bay Area, hands down!! The food, presentation, and service is OUTSTANDING! 100/100 would recommend.

Came in for dinner at 7:15 with a colleague and from sitting down at our table felt continuously rushed by the servers. Could barely look at the menu before server was back again to ask if we were ready. Was again rushed to pay the bill and to leave the restaurant while many tables still finishing their meals.

Awesome food, very great service. Price went up but I guess just like every thing else. At least quality of food still amazing. Volcano always a hit. And the fried banana desert awesome ness

All of our servers were polite and efficient, refilling our water a couple of times, which was nice since the carafe was on our table for self service. The lunch portions were hearty and very tasty. The colorful decor was pleasing with my only critique being that they crammed everybody in on one side of the restaurant with no table gaps. I understand server efficiency, but I think it made the room louder than it needed to be. The ladies next to us scooted closer together instead of sitting on opposite sides of the small, round table so that they could hear each other. The other half of the restaurant was completely empty so it would have been nice to space us out, particularly the larger groups. All in all an enjoyable meal, though.

Every dish we had was delicious. We went on a weekday at lunch and it was mostly company outings. The ambiance was lively but not overly loud. I look forward to visiting again.

They were busy and understaffed. Although ambience was nice, and servers were friendly, the long delay to be served and rushed vibe of the servers downgraded the experience.

Incredible dishes. Super nice staff! I really enjoyed my meal as well as my leftovers the following day. I will be back!
