Everything was very delicious and high quality. Ambience was excellent, with great service and calm lighting. Definitely priced for a special occasion, but worth it for a special night out.

Always enjoyable for the setting, service and super supper! We love sitting at the bar and then retreating to the comfortable black club chairs at the table for two.

Came here last night to enjoy a birthday dinner before heading to a show at the Masonic. It was our first time here and we're already dreaming of coming back. I noticed a dimly lit romantic atmosphere as soon as I walked in. The host asked if we were celebrating anything special and when I told her it was my birthday she gave us a table in the back that almost felt like we were in our own private table like cabana. It special and secluded. We started our order off with cocktails, bread and salad. The bread does cost but it's made in house and for $5 it was worth it. So delicious we ordered two! The salad was big enough to share. Two of us shared the 24oz aged ribeye and it was probably the best steak I've ever had. It was juicy, soooo flavorful, had a nice char around the edges and cooked to perfection. They were so nice and cut evenly in half for us to share. We enjoyed the loaded baked potato and broccolini as our sides. My sister got the burger and it was huge with this thick delicious bacon and came with a generous portion of yummy fries. They have a huge wine list. We chose the Three Valley Zinfandel wine to go with our dinner and it was very good and within budget. I can't remember our servers name but he did a wonderful job. Everything from start to finish was amazing. Ended the night by bringing me a candle lit vanilla scoop of ice cream for my birthday. Can't wait to go back!!

Service was amazing- loved the Wedge & Bacon appetizer - wasn't a fan of the cheese bread, greasy - steak cooked perfect - the lamb cooked with cabbage wasn't the best choice in my option. Servers were attentive and friendly

Nice looking restaurant. Seated by polite hostess. The waitstaff were really pretty bad. Didn't take a drink order - just handed me a menu, came back in 10 minutes and asked what food I wanted. I ordered a glass of Bordeaux and the steak frites. The wine was not good. The steak was average - a bit tough and over cooked. Must say the fries were good. I told the waiter the 1st wine wasn't good and ordered a Malbec. Got no apologies and . . . took 15 minutes to bring the second wine, after most of my meal was eaten. Overall would not go back or recommend.

Absolutely wonderful spot for steak and accompaniments. The experience from start to finish was warm, friendly, and elegant. The food was beautifully fresh and well prepared delivered by an attentive and funny staff that ensured constant yet not overbearing attention. Amazing time had by all.

Very good salads - mixed, Caesar, chopped. Pork chop schnitzel cooked perfectly, while roast chicken was tasty. Sides of mac'n cheese and mushrooms were also very good. Issue was with the wine order, bottle brought to table was being passed off as what was listed in the wine menu. Luckily our guest is a wine connoisseur who picked up on the discrepancy and brought it to the attention of the waiter and manager. He was also familiar with the winery, owner and his wines, including the price. The discussion at the table was not comfortable for the other guests. Receptionists at the front were very nice and welcoming.

400 dollar dinner for two. it's what i expected to pay. at first glance , it's a fun old time steak house. cocktails were fine. steak was tough and lacking seasoning. the restroom is like walking into a gym. filthy gym. this was meant to be a very nice birthday dinner for a friend. it was not. service was nice enough. i will not be back

Osso was a great place and my favorite steakhouse in SF! Would highly recommend a nice dinner spot here. Service was amazing and made me want to come back. Highly accommodating to gluten free options as well.

If you want a great dining experience with an authentic old school vibe then look no further than OSSO. You will not be disappointed as the discreet placement of tables and discerning attentiveness is all part of the service. The food is amazing and we had the steaks carved and served on platers for all to share. Yes it is expensive to dine at OSSO but the food , drinks , wine are all what you would expect from a five star dining experience.
