Great drinks. Don’t get the hype on the dinner dishes. Everything I’ve tried including their top recommendations was underwhelming. The mandatory 5% service charge and 5% sf mandate on top of asking for tip is lame. I live nearby and actively avoid this place when introducing my friends to the area. The service is hit or miss.
This place is super cozy! We were able to get a seat for 2 for dinner without a reservation. The place had just the right amount of people chatting it up. The service was quick, the servers seemed happy, and the food was impeccable. I will concede that it was $36 for a chicken dinner, and I thought that was a little pricey, but it was honestly a really good meal and was worth the price. We got some of their fresh baked bread w/ butter and that was delicious, too.
One of my favorite in SF. Obviously the sourdough (and all of the baked goods) are awesome, but in reality I have never been disappointed here across multiple meals, dinner and brunch. Fresh ingredients, incredible service, and great cocktails. Recommend this place to everyone.
