Thai Cottage Restaurant Reviews
On a recent trip to SF I got to experience this Resturant. Cozy intimate and comfortable, we had an awesome meal. Some of the group were Vegan and they were able to accommodate them with ease. But the BEST part was the waiter he was so sweet kind and attentive. I wish I knew his name. I can’t wait to visit my family again to visit this place and oh yeah the prices are great.
My favorite Thai spot in the Sunset and one of my favorites in the city. <3
Obsessed with their Tom Kha soup w/ seafood, their duck fried rice is delicious & never too fatty. I typically avoid Pad Thai in America- but I really enjoy the Pad Thai here. Not greasy and not too sweet. Highly recommend!
The service is always friendly and warm, their space is cozy and lovely. Been bringing friends, family, and myself here for 10 years- I've never had a bad meal or experience.

Based on the reviews, Thai Cottage Restaurant is a small local spot in the Sunset serving flavorful Thai food that is great for dining in or take out. The dishes are incredibly fresh and delicious every time, with food that is consistently fantastic and never a bad meal. The Thai food is well balanced, flavorful, and on the lighter side sauce-wise, not heavy, greasy, or too sweet. Specific meals mentioned include the green curry, pumpkin curry, noodles, mango desserts, chicken satay with a crunchy cucumber salad, fried rice with chicken and shrimp, spicy tofu eggplant, veggie rolls, pad see ew with tofu no egg, and cottage duck. It is a family-owned spot where the owner is extremely kind, welcoming, and cares deeply about the food and the craft. The service is phenomenal, with staff who are kind, helpful, and ensure waters are always full. Thai Cottage is a cozy, understated neighborhood gem in the outer sunset, good enough to find at a high-end restaurant downtown.
