I have been eating and drinking here since it's first opening. The sushi has always been a consistent favourite. One or two others are roughly as good but none offer quite the bar, service, the whiskey or sake variety, the interior and atmosphere or the regulars that come year after year. Not even the other Ozumo locations quite measure up to this , the original.
Ozumo Sushi at Santana Row absolutely exceeded every expectation. I came with my best friend to celebrate her 21st birthday, and from the moment we arrived, the customer service was outstanding. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely excited to help us celebrate.

Salmon sashimi was room temp and I'm pretty sure it had been died orange because the die was dripping onto the plate. It was also a very unnatural color. Sushi roll was also room temp fish kind of gagged me
