Seems unsafe. Saw a small woman get head-locked over a disagreement about who’s song it was and not much happened. The patrons had to get involved to save the woman. As a woman I will not be back as there is no security or urgency when an assault happens.

Bartenders are all nice. Shirley is great she's my friend anyway so maybe biased. They actually have a lot of Chinese karoake songs too. My friend lives close so we go there kinda often. Always have a blast, and go home wasted after a great night haha

Love love love this place. Go every weekend to unwind after working 7-10 days in a row. They are so sweet and hospitable! They have a lot of songs not everything you may want to sing but there’s plenty to choose from. They also have this tiny QR code on the wall that you can search songs but again they may not have them which is perfectly fine because again there’s plenty to choose from! Everyone there from guest to staff are very friendly! Even though you have to buy a drink before you get to sing, I feel like it’s pretty reasonable. And, they do groups at these cute little tables. No extra charge it open seating! They also give you free snacks along with your drink! I will be coming here as often as possible!

Favorite karaoke in the city! They give you snacks and you don’t have to pay for songs. The bartender is also super nice!

Friendly dive bar, where the aunties will take care of you, and you'll definitely make friends with other people singing. I can't wait to go back again!

I came in with a wedding party, ordered 2 drinks and then put 4 drink in front of me and said I owed them $60. I said only order 2 of them and they took one away and said I owe $60. The only option they gave me was leave the wadding party, or pay them. I FEEL LIKE I WAS ROBBED! 2 stars bc the have karaoke

Pagoda is hands down the best karaoke bar in the Bay area. We have so much fun eerytime we go there. The staff and the crowd is always awesome and the sound system is the best ever too. I love singing and it's really the perfect place to do that.

Went here for my bachelorette party and had the time of my life! The bar is reasonably priced. Drinks are strong/worth every penny. And they have a giant book of so many songs to sing/pick from. I truly had the best bachelorette party ever thanks to Pagoda! My first time going to a karaoke bar and it was phenomenal. Will come back for sure. The staff was so friendly and kind. Plenty of seating but also plenty of room to dance too!

I’m no Mariah, I sound more like Biz Markie and Tom DeLonge’s love child drowning so typically I prefer private room karaoke. But Pagoda has the BEST public karaoke vibes. The crowd is always really fun there.

Pagoda has the worst servers/bartenders I’ve ever experienced. They’re very rude.

The bartenders are oddly and suspiciously selective about who they will and won't allow to sing, which seems influenced by how much money they think they can get out of you. There are two types of karaoke bar — open-stage bars and private room karaoke. Private room karaoke is what it sounds like and open-stage karaoke is a thunderdome, like open mic comedy. The staff here are strangely judgmental of people who take an open-stage mindset, and overly money-grubbing to the extent that I feel the opposite vibe of "for the love of the game" karaoke bars that I'm fond of.The audience I experienced was predominantly college kids celebrating something or another, and the staff seem to expect this demographic – with anything else being undesirable. So if you're a college kid with a group of friends who want to try karaoke for the first time this might be a decent option, but if you are someone who wants to actually *perform* I cannot recommend this venue at all.

Vibes are usually on point here. The owner is very nice and takes good care giving good service to patrons. You can do Karaoke while sitting at the bar too, which makes this place nice for testing out new songs or casual drinking and singing with folks. It's a good spot to make some friends.

There are so many songs, including those in Chinese, Russian, Korean, and Japanese. Also, they songs for free, unlike 2$ per song at Dimples, which is next door from here.Cocktails and alcohol are also very moderately priced - 10 to 14$ per cocktail. I ordered gin on rocks, which was just 10$ for a generous amount of Hendricks Gin.BEWARE: The order of songs is completely random, so expect to wait for yours for at least 50-60 minutes if the place is busy. We were only able to sing two songs during our three hour stay here on a Friday night.
