Nice cozy wine bar. Good wines and bites. Not sure why they have an in-store bottle corkage fee for their own in-house wines.

Cauliflower hoagie was outstanding

Wine bar and hoagies is a classic “coastal city millennial cute” idea but this place is overrated and the vibes were straight up bad.The hoagies weren’t that good and pretty expensive. But the biggest issue was the service. We ordered ahead of time and originally planned to eat our hoagies at the beach. We asked when getting our food at the counter if we could order a glass of wine and sit outside and eat our to-go food there, and the person working said that was totally fine.We get seated, and as we’re eating, a staff member comes up to tell us that in the future, we really shouldn’t eat the to-go sandwiches at the outdoor tables. That’s fine if that is your policy, but don’t sell me a 16 dollar glass of wine and say it’s ok to enjoy it with the food outside, then interrupt us mid-meal to tell us what we’re doing is a nuisance to the “people on the waitlist” for a table (there was no one waiting inside or outside). This does not suit the laid back energy of the sunset and doesn’t feel like a welcoming neighborhood spot. Wouldn’t recommend.

The atmosphere and aesthetic are nice. The service staff is nice. And the drinks are good. But the hoagies are very bland and overpriced. Would not recommend the food. Nice place for a drink though. Just be prepared to pay a lot.

Had the white wine and the Gabagool — it was a treat!! If you can, try to sit the corner where the sun hits you.Service and vibes are similar any other bougie wine bar, with excellent waiter recommendations on food options. Will go again!!

Palm City is a great hang. Probably a better hang than restaurant even though their hoagies are bigger than your forearm, but the ambiance for a luxurious dinner or weekend lunch is worth the trek, even if parking in the avenues is hellish. The salad is a nice meal even if the ingredients are a bit disjointed, but such is the danger of a chopped salad. A greater helping of the tahini dressing might help tie things together.

The cheese dip here was delicious! The pickled veggies too. I actually think they can do a better job on wine by the glass selection. I love the concept and location.

Love the 2 sandos i had today on Super Bowl Sunday!! Roast pork and mortadella. Highly Highly Highly Recommended. By the way, they sell wine here. Definitely try it. You will not regret my rec. JYW likes.

Good sandwiches here for sure. Yes they're huge, yes, they're super tasty, yes they're overpriced, and yes sometimes they're assembled in such a way that when you unwrap it, it's a big ole mess. What keeps me from coming here regularly is the weird snotty vibe from some employees. To quote Edina Monsoon, "You only work in a shop you know, you can drop the attitude."

I came to Palm City Wines because they're on a random "best SF sandwich" list that i found on google. This set my expectations pretty high. Don't trust everything u read, people. The ambiance was kinda weird walking in. They're not too friendly or helpful. Maybe that's just the wine bar vibe. We waited a while and had to share a round table with other people, which was fine. Wait staff didn't really check in with us, it was more of a fly-by, drop-off, see-ya, kinda thing. Again, maybe that's just the wine bar vibe. The italian american sandwich was bizarre. they STUFF arugula in that sandwich. it's like vacuum packed with greens. i was embarrassed i had to pick some out just to take a bite that wasn't 99% salad. the sandwich was fine after that, but not like an incredible $20 sandwich. Nice ingredients, weird execution. So, I assume this place is cool if you wanna get a drink or something small or maybe you're like me and you blindly follow "best sandwich list" articles, but i wouldn't recommend it based on my experience.

For all but the busiest restaurants, "no modifications" comes across as arrogant to me. Decided to give a hoagie a shot anyway, but unfortunately it was one of the worst sandwiches I can remember having. It was mushy and soggy and falling apart by the end. I couldn't finish it cause it started to gross me out! It was also $20. I do not recommend this place.

First time here. Super cute ambiance and great staff. Got the chicory salad and the cauliflower hoagie, both were very flavorful and tasty. Very happy with my experience here and want to try more of the menu soon! Found out about them from Check Please.

The place was very cozy, the people also very friendly. Took an Italian-American hoagie, it was amazing: very big and delicious and it took very less for them to make it, matter of minutes. You can taste every bit of it: the bread, the mortadella, the Parmesan. I would have preferred more mozzarella and more 'nduja, but it's my personal taste. I complain for the wrapping: it was not really easy to open, cause the paper was too strong to rip and also part of what was in the sandwich, especially the arugula, was on one side, not equally distributed, just sticking outside: so when you try to unwrap, it will fall on the floor or on the clothes. But the paper it seemed not strong enough to retain some liquid from dripping from the bottom part: indeed, I noticed it when some drops fell on my clothes and shoes, with my large disappointment. Aside that, all was good. The location is very nice: actually, one can taste the hoagie in the Golden Gate Park just nearby or on the beach. Highly recommended.
