There aren't a lot of Filipino food restaurants in sf let alone kamayan style! This is a cash only restaurant. Came here for my birthday on a weekday early lunch. No frills, very homey style Filipino restaurant with an awesome selection of Filipino food. Many of my friends first time going there. Reasonably priced and delicious! Service was amazing. They accommodated for about 14 people and although we were waiting for a couple more people to arrive the person working said he'd start working on the kamayan ASAP so we wouldn't wait too long. I believe the two people working this day was a couple and perhaps the owners. They were very nice to us and seemed just as excited for my friends to try our food too and even explained what sauces went with which portion of the kamayan. They do give plates with Banana leaves and utensils can be used upon request but kamayan is meant to be eaten with your hands. Overall it was a very fun experience and I'd seriously consider coming again! I know my friends truly enjoyed this experience too. Crowd favorites (not pictured) lechon kawalli, lumpia, shrimp and their panict

One of the few Filipino restaurants in SF. We ordered the 2 people meal on banana leaves, and added adobong chicken and pancit Filipino vermecilli since my friend doesn't like seafood. It was really yummy especially the bbq pork, grilled pork, adobong chicken, and lumpia. The grilled tilapia was good too. They played American pop music in the background, which is a nice ambiance since it was quiet on a Saturday night probably cause it was pouring rain outside. They gave us water that had lemon and cucumber in the pitcher, and had great service. It's wonderful that SF/Daly City has the biggest Filipino community, so I hope more people will try Filipino food and expose their palate to more diversity!

Love the ambiance, very homey, and love the music. Just the perfect place to satisfy your craving for Filipino cuisine. Only serving time needs improvement as they don't serve the orders per table all at once. Nevertheless, it's always nice to visit and love the Filipino community. Overall, it was worth a visit.

Food was ok for the most part and the service would have been good if not for the waiter arguing with a person in our group about their missing order which we all heard her order. Kind of pointless and strange.

I celebrated my birthday with friends here, and Josie and Lan made everything extra special. Don't forget that it is cash only (it's worth it x1,000!)

I have been to Pampanguena Cuisine twice and I can say that it is one of the best Filipino restaurants in the Bay Area. The food is delicious, authentic, and affordable. My partner loves the Filipino food and here we eat grilled squid, tilapia and pork. I also love the salted egg and the lumpia. The service is friendly and attentive. The best part is that we eat using our hands like typical life in Philippine provinces. It’s a nostalgic experience that reminds me of my homeland. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to try Filipino cuisine or just enjoy a great meal. Pampanguena Cuisine is a gem!

I needed a dessert for Thanksgiving (that wasnt cake or pie) and decided on turon. I called around and found this place. I ordered the day before and picked it up on Thanksgiving day. The lady who took my order was very nice and didn't mind my small order. I thought the price was a little steep but I can't say enough how much everyone enjoyed my dessert. Only wish I would've ordered more lol. I am now very curious to try the rest of their menu. Thank you Pampanguena Cuisine for adding variety and yumminess to my dessert table!

After having lunch, we decided to have dessert. I've had Pampanguena bookmarked because of the Halo Halo picture and was really looking forward to something like the picture. It was disappointing to bite into lots of ice! There were barely any jellies or toppings and the ube ice cream and ube jam were really small scoops compared to the mound of ice. So it was bland. The guy who took our order was pushing us to order more, so we got the Turon. Only 2 pieces compared to the 6 pieces in the photo on the menu. Basically tasted like banana egg rolls and you can taste the oil. I've definitely had better desserts elsewhere. Halo Halo - 2/5 Turon - 2/5 Was this an off day or did they run out of jellies, beans, ice cream...etc? Probably won't be back.

It was my dad's 88h bday and I wanted to order pansit. I've never tried this place and wanted to support my neighborhood. I ordered 2 orders of pansit. My wife picks it up and they tell me it's all in 1 box for $35.00. Really!!! All other Filipino & Asian restaurants, that's 1 order. It was mostly noodles, dry, and not good. Don't go here. They take advantage of people and rip you off. Better go elsewhere!!

Such a fun and delicious feast. Perfect if u like eating family style and trying lots of things. Service on the slower side as there were only a few workers and it's a family business, but well worth the wait. My favorite part was the crispy whole fish and the salted eggs. Portions are ginormous such a great deal!

After a some bad Filipino food in Vegas, I had a strong craving for some good Filipino food and have had this place bookmarked for a while. It did not disappoint! Ordered the tatluhan for 2 people since we really wanted the grilled squid. It was HUGE and I have no regrets! Everything was cooked perfectly. Chicken was tender and flavorful and loved the pork. The mango/tomato/onion mix was so good mixed with the salted egg and fried shrimp and fried tilapia. The owner makes his own secret sauce that he recommended to dip the squid and pork in but I ended up dipping EVERYTHING in. Popped the fried food leftovers in the air fryer the next day and turned it into a silog (egg and garlic fried rice) breakfast. Sooo good! The owner was really sweet and made sure our water was full. He even told us his Spotify playlist he had playing. Loved the casual and comforting vibe here. Can't wait to come back to try their other dishes! Note: It's cash only here and there's an ATM at the end of the block if you don't have cash. There were plenty of metered parking spots ~6pm on a Sat night. Meters are free after 6pm M-Sat and free Sundays.

When we got here, even though Google map said it should be open, it is not.

Best Filipino food I’ve ever had! I admit, I haven’t had that much filipino food. But this place really hits the spot. As far as I can tell, it’s very authentic (run by a filipino couple). The last time I was here, there were also some filipino people trying the food to see if they wanted to cater from this place, and they were raving about the food. So, you can take it from them if not from me.It’s also a pretty good deal, they give you a ton of food as you can see from the pics. Everything we’ve ordered has been great. And if you’re up for dessert, try the flan! It’s super good
