Amami Sushi Bistro Reviews
Food was excellent. Service was fast and attentive. I had the miso soup and chicken teriyaki. Tiny, intimate sushi spot. A bit cramped when crowded. But a nice lunch or dinner spot. Not ideal for large groups. Gratuity automatically included for groups of 6 or more. Also, they do not do separate checks for more than two. Good food though, I would recommend.
Fish tasted fresh and everything arrived in good shape
WARNING if you order to-go. Ask for soy sauce, chopsticks and napkins. Love the food, but they will not care if you have nothing to eat the food with. Open your plastic bag and check everytime!

Amami Sushi Bistro is a cozy and reliable spot for good value and quality sushi. The restaurant offers an omakase, a 10-piece dinner for $42, which is highly recommended. It features generous cuts of high-quality fish, perfectly seasoned rice, and attractive presentation. The staff is friendly and attentive, providing quick drink refills and friendly service. The ambiance is lively, with Asian music playing softly in the background. The restaurant serves a variety of sushi combinations and specialty rolls, including favorites like salmon and toro. Their lunch specials, especially the chirashi bowl, are a great value. They also serve fresh wasabi, which is a rare find in many sushi places. The restaurant has enough seating, but reservations are recommended for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights. Overall, Amami Sushi Bistro offers a great price-quality ratio and is a consistent choice for sushi lovers seeking a friendly environment and delicious food.
