We had a party of 8 ask for a table at 5:35 on Saturday, got seated by 5:55, but then the actual entrees did not come out until after 7. Two of our group had to leave by 7 so they canceled their orders, and the person who brought their food out cursed when we told him (not at us but generally). Also, they ran out of sangrias (their most popular drink) by 6 on a Saturday! which was disappointing.
The food is hit or miss. Hints of tacolicious but w cheaper ingredients. Drinks are good, w a happy hour menu. Food is so so and feels overpriced. The chips and salsa are great. Skip the chicken. The torta is ok, coleslaw has way too much mayonnaise. Their fusions don’t really hit. the classic torta is better. Their tacos use cheap gmo tortillas. Pozole is ok, didn’t finish it. I would say stick to the steak and you’ll get the best of them. But still, there’s better out...
