Lovely little shop with curated selection of cheese, dried meats, chocolates, and surprises! Also they have delicious sandwiches! Hard to pick a favorite, but I keep coming back to the fish one.
They also have an awesome cheese club and you can add a bottle of wine! I no longer have the luxury of this shop being a few blocks from me, but it’s a delight to stop by each month and see what’s new when picking up my cheese and wine.

Alimentari Aurora is a charming spot known for its tasty dishes and unique offerings. Their sourdough focaccia bread with whipped feta, arugula, and grilled peppers is a must-try. The $8 pizza slice with simple tomato sauce is also delicious. The daily specials, like the coppa and sweet potato sando, offer interesting flavor combinations. The store features Italian specialty items, including a collection of tinned fish, cheese, and meats. The neighborhood setting, next to wine and flower shops, adds to its cozy atmosphere. Customers can enjoy European-style sandwiches and focaccia either sitting outside in the parklet or shopping for pantry items. Recent reviews highlight the solid panini on crusty baguette, with one mentioning a particularly good meat sandwich that blended flavors perfectly with a satisfying crunch. The owner provides friendly service and is knowledgeable about their products. Whether dining in or shopping, Alimentari Aurora offers a creative menu with fresh ingredients and interesting flavor combinations.
