Paprika restaurant is a quaint and cute place with authentic sf swag on 24th mission. It is a small, cozy restaurant with incredible authenticity, flavor, and heart. The food is absolutely magnificent, offering pure comfort food like goulash and paprikash. The Hungarian goulash was outstanding, and the Chicken paprikash was excellent, as was the vegan alternative. The Vegetarian Goulash maybe needed the salt offered alongside. The Caprese Platter was super fresh and delicious, with amazing olives. The cheese board is recommended as a starter. The apple strudl is fabulous and not to be missed. Each dish comes with toasted bread perfect for sopping up the large serving of sauce. The tender pork melted in your mouth, and the Budvar washed it down perfectly. There is smooth live music, with musicians playing amazing Violin outside, helping with the Friday evening vibes. The waiter was friendly, authentic, and efficient, handling an entire restaurant alone, though he massively needed help. Paprika is a goulash haven, and it is absolutely worth the short detour from BART.
